Looks like we'll be playing our YT games at Stanley Park from the start of next season. Club are going to put a fair bit of money and effort into cleaning the ground and facilities up and likely will be asking the fans to offer a hand if and where they can. I for one am very much looking forward (particularly in the summer months) for a nice walk up to Stanley Park for a sit out in the sunshine and watch the kids and then a walk up to Bloomfield Road for the first team game.

I sincerely hope that for the first game they play there we can get a 'full house' - whatever that is at the oval - and show the club and the youth team they're getting the support of the town and community.

The Ice Cream hut by the play ground stands to absolutely rake it in if they can get permission to sell pints !

Also if anyone knows anything more about the project (insider ??) let me know as if I can i'd be happy to volunteer some time and effort. Whether it's painting the fences, cleaning up and fixing the seats or even some tangerine topiary !

Great news that and it’s a good place to watch footy. Like you say the yoof in the morning then off to watch the big boys in the afternoon, happy days! The volunteers will be happy going there to help out as l suspect there will be no bird shoite all over the place!

I asked the question at the Structured Dialogue Meeting so let's see what Board have to say when the minutes are eventually released.

Think BST will be organising working parties like they have with those at the ground.

How much the council charging, bet its dear for a club with money. Parasites.

A couple of years back a Sunday side Kingsfield played at the Oval, I believe their sponsor paid for it and it was around £200 per game.

Would love to have an opportunity to watch the team on a Sat morning

Great move by the club to move to the Oval

Can't come soon enough

I think this is great for those of us who travel to our games. Most of us set off early so I reckon getting the see the youth team play will become part of the daily routine especially if like me, you've got an 11 year old to entertain so you can't just spend all day in the pub.

good move.
