Stay safe this Christmas

Hopefully none of us will have to go to A & E this Christmas because resident doctors are striking from 17th December until 22nd

The goodwill we all had for them when Labour came in and gave them a massive pay rise and they stopped striking- has long faded away.....

I know many companies and industries that failed to give out inflation busting pay rises since 2010 in flat markets. I don't know any who have given their staff 22% pay rises to try to claw back what they couldn't give in the tough times.

Plus for many doctors it's like being a politician. Decent pay but not amazing until you reach consultant (or MP). Then the private sideline gravy train really kicks in!!

Yeah. Spot on.

Never met a junior doctor who does more than 2 hours a week!!!!!

That’s why the waiting lists are so long and I can’t get an appointment to see my GP!!!!!

Bone idle skivers. The lot of them!!!!!

Eee those doctors utter scroungers. Ditto train drivers, nurses.
Worse than the boat invaders living it up in 5 star hotels and benefit claimants swanning round in new BMW's.
We must look after our own, that means exclusively Jacob Rees Mogg and Farage.

So you think a 22% pay rise over two years and then striking for more whilst putting lives at risk is totally acceptable?

The whole public sector, from Civil Servants, Local Government, Armed forces, NHS... (NOT Politicians Tho) all had little or no pay rises like the Junior Doctors for 10yrs during the enforced austerity, however no other service to my knowledge has had 22%, or the additional 5.4% so why are Doctors more important, every little part of public services is just as important. Doctors, get real, and get back to work... until the rest of us, get nearly 30% over 2yrs....
