I'm sure I've heard he trains with BFC...can someone confirm that?Just read his wiki page and it would seem one of his kids was born on the GC and the family live in Lytham & he commutes to play for QOTS.
Yep was at that game too. We played very well and Watford tried to kick us off the park. Watford manager? Sean Dyche so no surprises..Made my weekend when I took the other half to London for a romantic weekend and then dropped it in on the way that Blackpool were playing Watford away (What were the chances!) and we should go. Sat behind the goal and watching him walk through the Watford defence to score will stay in my memory forever
Yep, showed some character that day, tried to bully us and get a reaction from our players, they did, we played football and beat them the right wayYep was at that game too. We played very well and Watford tried to kick us off the park. Watford manager? Sean Dyche so no surprises..
Absolutely.Shambles we never signed him. A man of many loan spells!
Bob Malcolm?Who was that nomark coach for us who got involved in fisticuffs at a substitution
That absolutely did me in.
Makes perfect sense, I had a couple of similar thoughts when watching myself. That absolutely did me in.
My sister lived right near there as well. I've been to Palmerston a few times and I was planning to go on boxing day to see the Dobbie/Adam derby whilst staying at my mum's. Obviously, Covid did for that.
Anyway, outside of that, there's something in hearing the genuine and true adulation of football fans for a local idol that has left me with a sense of a bit of something in my eye, stupid as it sounds.
Of all the things about football, I miss that bit where a song starts and spreads around the ground and becomes something that is part of you most and that just reminded me of it in a way I wasn't prepared for.
Yeah, well said.Makes perfect sense, I had a couple of similar thoughts when watching myself.
At first I thought how amazing that must feel as a footballer, and it's what boggles the mind sometimes (more often than not) that players chose money over something along those lines. Might not be a great example as we don't know all the ins and outs but I thought when Charlie Adam went to Reading instead of here, it confused me as to why you would choose to be on Reading's bench most weeks instead of coming back to a club where you will be worshipped and could end your career on a heroic note.
Then I thought how amazing it will be in the future that we'll actually get to have send offs like this for our players we attribute hero status to. I always felt under the previous owners it was something that was never done properly, either players got cashed in on before they could be here long enough to achieve it or whenever a player of hero status left there was never any ceremony added to it (or off-pitch shenanigans prevented it). I think that's something the new regime will definitely rectify going forward!
Quite moving that. Fair play to the QOS fans. Drums n blue, flares unintelligible lyrics. Class and well deserved for the Dobbmeister
Any idea what they re singing? That absolutely did me in.

Thanks for letting us know. He will always be a legend in my eyes. Happy days good luck to him,
Last game tonight for QoS. He will be immortalized for his goal at Forest that was instrumental in getting into the premier league
