Steve Evans leaves Stevenage

Generally really good mate. Puts in a shift up and down the pitch every match both in attack and defence. Has become a bit of a fans favourite, with his cheeky chappy enthusiasm and bite in the press. Regular starter on the right side of a 4-1-4-1; a lot of fans regularly remark on why Blackpool decided to let him go... I can only assume it's a system thing, because he's decent!
As a player who liked to attack, there was never a place for him in our turgid style of football.

Because Critchley is a nob

Cheers and can’t argue with his commitment and desire just that lack of quality on the ball that lets him down.
Glad he’s doing well for you anyway 👍

Remember reading a few punditry comments this season that it was unfair to say that Evans sides were bullies playing unattractive football as they said they got the ball down and played some decent football. I wonder if he just has that reputation and as fans we can't see past that?

Seems quite resourceful and uses what he has well.
Not exactly free flowing football but has a reputation for playing negative hoof ball but I think gets exaggerated sometimes. He carry’s Paul Raynor around with him who’s sole job on a match day seems to be constantly stand next to the 4th official kicking off about every single decision that doesn’t go their way.
