Saw him last year with three pals who were all fans: we agreed he was good but not great.

His style of `cleverness` may not lend itself too easily to someone coming to him cold, he is an acquired taste.

Ah the Morrissey look alike, I had to Google him, yes I have seen him on tv. Is he supposed to be funny?
 
I've seen him on these last four tools and these funnier than most of the comedians in circulation I mean you'll try new things sometimes they work sometimes not as good and he does a good piss take of people like Michael McIntyre and Russell Whatisname and Ricky Gervais.
His BBC 2 series had some hilarious moments. There's lots of stuff on YouTube and some of these live shows are on there I think.

But if you are right wing voted for brexit don't like immigrants and or a fan of Michael McIntyre then I'd give him a miss.
in his live shows he usually starts off making the joke with the people who have just been brought along by a friend or a partner and how he wishes they left them at home that's their sure to be disappointed 😂 . So your wife.......

I really like him, and seen him before, but wasn't sure about taking the wife. She did laugh quite a bit but heckled him 😱at one point which he reacted to quite kindly, thank God.

From discussion on the way back it was obvious a fair bit went over her head though. 😂

One tip for those who are going to see him on this tour. Don't shout out 'Miranda' in the middle of his bit about Fleabag and thereby demonstrating that you have spectacularly missed the whole point of that bit of his show - didn't end well for the individual. 😂
