Just back home from my morning/afternoon in Blackpool. Anyone wanting a brilliant Sunday lunch goto the Briadene. 10/10 and I'm usually hard to please. Hard the salmon prawn stater which was beautiful and fresh. The lamb for main was perfect. Ps great to see Blackpool as busy. Had a few early doors in the Ardwick after a couple of recommendations. All I will say is you get what you pay for. The guiness which was a fair price at £3.75 but was a 5 out of 10. But is what it is.. Cheap pint for people on short breaks. It's great to just stand near the sea on a fresh day. Nothing better to clear the head. Whoever advised me the Briadene thank you. The advice was spot on.

Quality over quantity.

We used to go to Briardene every year for Christmas dinner, but after they bumped the price up (again) we stopped going a couple of years ago and switched to Venue.

The quality is there, I want a bit more quantity. The venue, thats a bit of a come down.

The lamb filled me up. In these places you know its not going to be a mountain of food. But what you do get is perfection. If I wanted a mountain of food I would of gone to the squirell and loaded my plate. It's what you fancy on the day I suppose.
