Sudden interest in us ...

It’s sky sports + so effectively just the red button. It’s not on the main sky channels. For comparison I saw that Swindon have had two games announced for sky sports +. So we aren’t special unfortunately.

Three games live on Sky in the opening two months .. far cry from last season .. do they quite fancy us this season?
We're not featured games as such. All the opening games are on and then they have a certain number of games that will be live on SkySports+. I think every Club is promised a minimum number but ultimately yes having 2 games picked early is a surprise.
PS
@Lanc_seasider just beat me to it.

Sky Sports+ is a main channel. On Sky Glass its on channel 410.

The second two games appear to be on there, whilst the opening day game is livestreamed as with all the others.

It’s not a ‘main’ channel as such. I’d imagine there will be a handful of games on it via the red button. The sky sports+ coverage is no different to the ifollow coverage really expect I think they show you replays. It’s usually still just one camera angel, not like if it was being shown on Sky sports main event for example where there’d be numerous camera angles and a full commentary team. Sky sports + is usually just a single commentator.

I thought the Barnsley/Northampton games had been selected as they are 12.30 ko which is different than all the games being chosen for a 3pm?

They can only broadcast live 3 pm kick offs on the first day because the PL has not started then. That is our Stevenage match. The Barnsley and Northampton games are later dates, so have been changed to the 12.30 pm time so that they can be broadcast live.

Why wouldn’t they want to televise Blackpool v Bolton in September . Even though I’d rather people go to the game than watch on telly , plus they’ll probably pull it to a 12 o’clock kick off . So probably best they don’t.

Did I read they are doing it for the second game as well?
