Should be interesting.

I also see Lancs are playing against Cumberland at Sedbergh (who's the home team?).

They have a CC game coming up there and yet Blackpool/Lytham can't get a game. Money and Public School crap again.

Cumberland will be the home team as they play one (or two) of their home games at Sedbergh every year as they did a few years ago. I only know this because when my son opened the batting for Lytham he also opened the batting for Cumberland and indeed was their (and Lytham`s) leading scorer in the year they were national Minor Counties champions.

Forgive me for crowing a little but as a dad I was rather proud of his achievement.

And yes you’ve guessed it Jason Roy fails as well.

Had a shocking series but yet they’ve stuck with him why? unbelievable how they keep picking him. 🤬

Just flicked over during the footy half time.

England 97/8.

Need 95 off 25 balls.

Taxi for Butler methinks still time before the World Cup. 👍

Edit make that 97/9. 🤣

And now all out for 101 pathetic.

Embarrassing. Rashid and roy need to hang there bats up. Curran and Jordan shite. Salt should play as keeper also. And Livingstone is just a ** joke. His and Buttlers contracts at Lancashire need shredding. Rant over.

England got what they deserved today because the selectors know damned well Roy is woefully out of form yet they continue to play him instead of sending him off to County cricket to regain his confidence and form. Malan is a waste of space as a white ball player, his strike rate is abysmal. Buttler was doing fine and dandy as the best T20 batsman in the world and they decide to lump the captaincy on him and all of a sudden his form dips dramatically. To be fair SA deserved to win the series, they have beaten us fair and square in the last two matches and in young Stubbs they have some talent in the middle order. With the T20 World Cup approaching a rigorous shake up is required, they have heaped too much on Buttler shoulders, opening bat, wicket keeper and skipper, remove two of those roles for me, but the most important thing is play players who are actually in form, no matter how good a player is, if he's out of nick he aint scoring you any runs, the selectors need to realise that and pick accordingly.

Buttler just seems too nice to be a strong captain. Just not the right kind of person to do it. It doesn't feel at all good for the WC at the moment. Struggling all round.

Jason Roy's body language says it all. He knows he shouldn't be there and almost looks gutted to be selected he's so woefully all over the place mentally and technically. It's an absolute joke when we have a plethora of fine openers chomping at the bit to get a chance.
