Take Collective Responsibility

The o/p is right, too many people don’t follow the rules, it’s obviously not possible on a crowded pavement to keep 2 metres apart, but if you’re simply walking past, the risk is minimal.

The problems though are many:

People not wearing masks correctly in enclosed spaces, nose out, pull it down to talk etc.

Wearing disposable masks multiple times.

People claiming to be exempt, without any evidence they are.

People standing shoulder to shoulder in queues.

People reaching over you to get something off a shelf in supermarkets.

Mixing both indoors and outside when they shouldn’t.

Hopefully this lockdown will concentrate minds, but there will still be an element who just don’t care.

There is the option of a £10,000 fine. It's everyone else who's spreading it and not you though. Selfish.
Wiz. In case you haven't already guessed from my comments, I hold bedwetters in the absolute lowest regard so your selfish comment really is water off a duck's back.

Everyone is spreading the virus. Young, old, vulnerable, not vulnerable. You wouldn't go on a Covid ward giving people struggling for breath shit for spreading the virus - but that's exactly what they've done. The idea that there is some moral code attached to the spread of a highly infectious RTI is - pardon the pun - sick. But you've swallowed it, hook, line and sinker. So much so your posts resemble government advice that I see at bus shelters which is so easily ignored.

Lastly, fines only get dished out for those breaking the law.

Stay safe.

I'm not gonna stop seeing my 70 year old Dad. He lives by himself and the last lockdown saw him suffer from anxiety and depression. Not having him go through that again by himself. Judge me all you want.
No judging if my dad was still alive I would do the same and TBH you would not be breaking any rules
Social bubble and all that

You are allowed to. Any adult who lives alone can treat one other household as if they were part of that household.

Actually, seeing the news this A.M. I'd be surprised if the proposed 'Lockdown on Thursday goes ahead.
It looks like many Tories are going to vote against it.
Conversely Labour might vote for it, so it might go through.
