Seems it does nothing, I read earlier there has been another racist attack in London. But my guess is this is not about combating racism in general, just about the players hurt feelings.I like evidence.
What evidence, either way, is there of the effect that 'the knee ' has?
I get the impression that it polarises the argument, rather than bringing people together.
I understand the need to stand by your abused colleagues, but whether it will contribute to lasting change seems unlikely.
Those posters who raise the issue of the world cup have a point, if you'll bend the knee for one issue but deliberately support a competition in an obviously terrible state, you might look at your real motivation.
