Tangerine and White

Always gone for the traditional Tang/white kit but I thought the lads looked really good in the all tangerine last night.
Not sure it was true tangerine though but it did look terrific.

For ages I've treated the all tangerine kit as a bad omen. But like all of these superstitions, it's bollocks.

Yep. I like an all tangerine kit with just white trims and an all white away kit with tangerine trims.

Agreed…I felt so strongly about it in 1988 that I complained to Geoff Warburton in the Club Shop…he said it was Sam Ellis’ fault!

Big Sam felt that one colour would give an important psychological advantage…the opposition would be dazzled or distracted to such an extent they’d pass to us…. Sadly, that didn’t always work!

Am a big fan of all tangerine - a flash of white can confuse issues.
Having been in the club shop on Saturday, up close the new away kit is quite nice and don't mind the 3rd kit.
All three look better close up than they did on the websites.

Our colours (plural) are tangerine AND WHITE. Tangerine shirts & white shorts (tick). White shirts and tangerine shorts (tick).

Fat Sam used to prefer it too stating that it made the players look bigger.

That was apparently the reason Bill Shankly gave for Liverpool adopting an all-red strip in the 60’s.
