We know we’re in League 1 in 24/25.

We know Critchley will remain our first team coaching going into the next season.

We know there going to be 6/7 players leaving and therefore 6/7 coming in.

It’s unlikely our plans are going to be disrupted or impacted by the Euros this summer.

I’m hoping we can announce a squad retained list early this week, alongside a date for pre-season.

I’m also hoping the club will announce some sort of fans forum and provide some news on Garstang Road and share some sort of plan for the East as well as a start date for the community pitches at the rear of the North.

Ideally we’ll also get some signings wrapped up nice and early to whet the whistle ahead of season ticket prices being released.

A new kit available nice and early and perhaps a more palatable sponsor would also be welcomed.

One thing I don’t want is weeks of radio silence. Right or wrong, there’s plenty of fans with axes to grind and there is a disgruntled faction within the fanbase.

The clubs got to be proactive, set out its stall early and then make some positive noises so we actually start 24/25 and the preseason from a strong position on and off the pitch.

I’m a firm believer the anger, annoyance and dissatisfaction can soon be forgotten *if* the club can get their communication and PR right - something they’ve not done all that well over recent years tbh.

Good post LA1. Unfortunately, I don't see much happening as early or as positively as you see it. I will gladly eat humble pie if I'm wrong.

I have liked your post because I agree thats what needs to happen. I will be surprised and delighted in equal measure if it does.
