Taylor Moore

Definitely good, potential was evident but if not good enough for Brizzle City still would like Dan back

This seems a bit odd?
He played well in his spell with us. Enthusiastic and not without brains or skill.
Surely, Bristol City would view him similarly?

I thought he was talked of being in the 5 mil btacket back then.
I think the 5m figure came from a thread which included West Brom's rumoured valuation at the time he was with us.
A quality player who I'd like to see at BR, unless Critch thinks we've already got enough cover/quality at CB?

yeah maybe. Seem to think he wasn't the tallest centre half so if we were to get him I'd like someone tall along side him.

It's Nigel Pearson as manager, won't like an intelligent footballer. This lad has bags of ability, seems an ideal opportunity for Critchley to add value.

From the article: "However Pearson may yet wish to retain the defender who has yet to play for the new manager since he arrived in February due to an ankle problem."

Taking someone with an injury is always a risk, especially when he hasn't played for months, and will take several months more to get up to speed, even assuming the injury is not chronic. I'd prefer BC to take that risk rather than us.

I'm hoping the days are gone when we buy injured players.

Taylor Moore was a very good player, he would be a great signing. Here the same time as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, .
But what about the Leeds lad and not forgetting Dan Ballard.
It's great that were linked to players like this, just imagine all 4 of those, that would be "wow"

Garbutt, Dougall, Ward and Stewart were all signed after bad injuries, sometimes if you handle them well the "injured" player turns out to be a very good signing as they appreciate the fact the club took a chance

Didn’t know he was injured. Also, we have Marvin, Greta’n, Thornily and even Husband. Ballard is still in the picture and there is the question of Casey(?), the Leeds CB. We don’t Need them all.
Love it. A club with ambition.

I think we have already seen that the manager doesnt go back in for players we have already had at Bloomfield Road...we havent yet signed anyone who has been here before

Good point. I knew Grant was injured and he turned out well. I hadn't realised that the others were injured.

I was also thinking of Madine who was injured and took time to get match fit, then played well for a few games, then disappeared again with niggles until the play-offs. Also Matty Virtue, who looks promising but suffers constant injuries. We've not had our 'moneys worth' out of those two.

I trust our club to make the correct decisions. 🍊🍊

Interesting point. I had wondered whether Gabriel might feature as part of the deal with Forest, who have shown an interest in Yates. According to rumours on Twitter they've been told that £5m is the minimum offer we're looking for.

Obviously, I don't want Yates to go - it's not in his interests, or ours. But money talks. 🙁

It worked well for us last season with K&K as an example. Difference to under the Parasites is that the injured players we sign now actually have some talent.

The most interesting aspect of the new regime is that we are trying to upgrade in every position...if the likes of Spearing Gnando and Feeney go we upgrade with Dougall, Yates and CJ...if we keep doing that we will be improving all the while and our recruitment has been very very good with the notable exceptions of Lubala and Sarkic...they wont all be hits but as long as the majority are we will be fine.

I was always disappointed the chant for him at AFC Wimbledon away; "Taylor Moore! How do you like him? How do you like him?" never caught on...
