The 2014/15 season

What’s your worst memory from that season?

For me this was our lowest point in our decline under the scum. Yes we tumbled down the leagues I had already fallen out of love with the club by the time Mugdonald was appointed.

In 2014/15 we earned the lowest points tally in championship history if I’m not wrong?

But for me one of the most embarrassing moments of the season was when Jacob Murphy- who was playing very well for us at the time and was a rare glimmer of hope- posted on Snapchat pre-game something along the lines of ‘we’re going to lose again’ and was sent back to Norwich. That sums up that season for me. An absolute joke.

We’ve spoken to a player who played for the club this week ahead of releasing a podcast very soon. Some VERY interesting insight from that season! Stay tuned

Oh god that was the worst season we all had as fans especially when the odious ones decided to wait until the start of the season to get any players and Jose Riga was like a cow heading to the slaughterhouse before he was given a chance but now we are heading in the right direction under Sadler, hopefully get back into the championship sooner rather than later and the circle is complete 👍🏻

Wasn’t this when they did the whole Riga Revolution bollocks and got people to sign up to a two year season ticket?

Thankfully I only did the year and that was bad enough. I remember an entertaining 4-4 draw with Forest (?) I think it was but apart from that it was absolutely woeful season.

The one player from that season I wish we had at a different time was Orlandi who came from Brighton, he was a good player and enjoyed reading his column and can remember he was bemused at times what was going on and make hints in his column.

The tonking by Bournemouth at home.
One of our biggest home defeats losing 6-1.

I don’t think our final points tally was the lowest.
The game when Nyron Nosworthy pulled up with a hamstring injury, kicked the ball out and Bournemouth took the throw-in quickly and scored

I got a 2 year ST, but it was pretty obvious what was happening and I stopped going by about the 2nd or 3rd home game of the first season and never used it again.

Yes, it was forest, the first game in about a year where we scored more than 1 goal at home

I fell for the two year deal. Met Riga at Huddersfield, nice chap, and left at half time against Millwall, never to darken the doors of the club again until the homecoming,. Apart from the Sir Jim funeral and postponement due to a waterlogged pitch,, but did go to away games. I had a number of strange phone calls from person or persons unknown for a period when I was busy writing blogs about the situation. Strange days.

Interesting Curryman
I know someone else who had similar issues
Apparently I and some others were under surveillance for a while - only found out about it a little later
All rather sinister

4-4 draw was entertaining but even then it was bitter sweet. We were doomed from the first game of the season when I think we only fielded 5 subs out of 7?

Massive turnover of free transfers, loans, free agents,a complete shambles. We were dead in the water long before a ball had been kicked.
