I see that Elon Musk has announced he is oing to establish a new political party to challenge the established 2 parties in the USA, and will use X to promote this. Sounds a bit familiar. President Musk? 🤔
 
He can’t run for president as he’s South African can he?

I actually like the guy, I think as a person he’s a weirdo but he’s a genius, what he’s done with Tesla, space X and neuralink is unbelievable and helps the human race so much just a weird autistic guy though 😂
 
It would be a really interesting political experiment if Musk purely uses social media to drive a campaign and is successful. They spend billions on polling and advertising in the States during campaigns and could cut that right down.

I hope he goes through with it. This could be a complete game changer.

He can't be President. Not native born.
 
It'll take a bit shift in mentality for the Americans to vote neither of if the two historic parties. But he's got a a good run up and he knows exactly when he needs to do it by.

He's also got a platform.

Unless he is able to do the coin completely on the Republican party, all he will do is allow the Democrats to win, because I can't see any of them voting for anything to do with him.

They think he's the devil!

Didn't the fabulously wealthy Ross Perot try something similar decades ago? Google says he got 19% of the vote, that would be enough to get the Dems back in power.
 
He’s currently focused on the Senate and the House, not the Presidency.

And a handful of swing states/districts that could swing the balance of control.

Mid terms next year.
