The end of Boris is nigh

Whilst it may be some way off it is clearly getting into gear - losing an astonishing majority in Amersham and then Berco leaving is truly the start of a huge slide

No morals, no caring, no EU - that spells - FINISHEDF

Just as the Iranian regime or the North Korean dictatorship always blame America for their own inadequacies, the Tories are going to be scapegoating the EU for all its failures for many years to come.
The only difference is that because of US sanctions the other two have some justification for their argument.

Bercow leaving is a cause for tory celebration. Probably give Boris a new lease of life.

ps I think you need to work on your spelling 😉

Boris was never going to run for another GE anyway which is bad news for Labour they might have had a chance against Blow Job.

Losing Amersham will make absolutely no difference to the Tory majority, as for Bercow, well if you think that spells the end of Boris as he’s joined Labour then I don’t think you have much idea about public opinion. I’m pretty sure Boris won’t be in the big seat too long anyway. Be careful what you wish for.

Bercow leaving is a big deal. It's focussing on the fact that under Johnson and his ERG playmates his party is moving further to the right. If he also continues to focus his good news on red wall seats then the shires and home counties may look more at what the Lib Dems are offering.

PS. I think you need to work on your thinking. 😉

It seems the Tories’ relaxation of planning laws is upsetting the middle classes in the Home Counties. They fear that vast estates of ticky-tacky boxes will spring up in the fields on the outskirts of their lovely leafy villages in Buckinghamshire. Something that the Lib-Dems are going to play on remorselessly.

Never mind that the social conditions in any sizeable town north of Birmingham are falling consistently year-on-year due to government cutbacks of local council funding, just because they have the temerity to vote Labour, while Tory councils get extra special funding.

Well you all voted for it !

Conservatives will get a seat back anyway on 1st July 🤣🤣
I assume, which I shouldn't, you are talking about the Bi-election in Dewsbury, if so presently Labour is trailing in the polls, after putting forward, as a candidate, the sister of Joe Cox. It appears, however, from what I have read, that a lot of the Muslim Voters are turning away from Labour due to their stance on the Jewish situation within the party which some, it is reported, consider anti-Muslim. Work that one out!

To me, it would appear there is a lot of disquiet in the country on various subjects by various groups, about various parties, and how anyone can work out exactly what is going on in any particular area is welcome to try. 🙄

So with ‘dodgy Matt Hancock’ gone there’s only one more elephant in the room !

the sooner he’s gone the better the World and the UK will be !

Johnson OUT !

Unfortunately there are still dozens of the corrupt, money laundering scum to be got rid of before this country can start to improve.

I seem to remember we are a democracy, you’ll get your chance to cast your hate vote at the next general election. Until then, get a life.

But what you don`t seem to remember is that a fundamental tenet of democracy is the right to express your opinions through freedom of speech.

And a designated political forum would appear just the place to do that, don`t you think?

Or do you want Cat `cancelled`?

A certain irony there, don`t you think?🙃

No, absolutely, crack on if you want to continue to stress about something you can’t do anything about for a few years.

Democracy is about participation. It's not just a cross on a piece of paper once every 5 years. Participation in local and regional councils, mayoral elections, and other activities: protests, fund-raising, lobbying, writing to your MP and, yes, posting opinions on internet forums.

Whatever floats your boat

Not wanting to pop any balloons, but Hancock & Bercow leaving is a positive for the Conservatives and Boris is still as popular as when he was voted in on the back of a huge majority.
Hancock has not left the Conservative Party and he remains a Tory MP. I would like to hope that his Newmarket constituents might apply for a recall order to deselect him.

Rumours Boris is happy to stay on as PM till mid 2027 then make a fortune as a stand up comedian and buying mansions in St. Albans and Mexborough where statues of him in the centre of both towns willl be built and paid for by the adoring local populace.🇬🇧👍

But they don't accept democracy. They just want to talk about accepting it. Voting for Brexit. Voting for Boris. It doesn't matter what the majority want. It only matters that they want.

In that case you might like to check the law surrounding recall petitions, or for that matter the difference between selection and an election.

TLDR version: not going to happen.

What part of a democracy means that any dissent can only be six weeks before a vote? You're saying that you can only comment at election time.

Think that through.

Brexit result is down to the maths. 52 beats 48 in any referendum except if you live in China North Korea or the faux democracy of Russia. 🇬🇧

Dissent all you like and then vote. Democracy is a simple system

I think you’re asking rather a lot of Tango Joebbels

Role of Goebbels, brain of Gerbils

but sadly not simple enough for some to understand.
