The first of many IMHO

Being investigated by the greens, some interesting tweets in the past too. Can't speak much of the greens candidate vetting.

It's funn, lefty parties don't seem to have the same level of focus on them from groups like hope not hate, who are just a political organisation, they comb through Reform candidates twitters etc but they don't seem to do much for people they support.

Whilst reading that article there's a link to this one... a list of demands from the Muslim vote for Starmer if they want their support.

Might I suggest JJ that you look beyond the Daily Heil for your sources of information.

You can suggest it but I'll post something wherever I find it or if I want and I've actually posted so many sources recently from all sorts of places. Yet only when it's one from the mail suddenly you jump on it, there's that bias again. I actually searched for the green party investigating this issue, which came up on something, so searched for an article and would you believe that was one that came up, I didn't see any from the LW media.

Forget the paper look at the content, that's the point.

You found something by the Green Party but nothing in the left wing media? Sorry you did day that, yes?

Eh?

I searched for the 'green party investigate' over this issue of their candidate, as that's what came up.

I found the articles but nothing about it from LW sources that would have satisfied you, not that I looked in depth, why would I.

I don't care where something come from really.

Interesting little article: Oxford students must sign radical manifesto to join protest camp

Oxford University students protesting against the war in Gaza have signed up to a demand that millions of Palestinians be allowed to take back their ancestral land in Israel.

Oxford Action for Palestine is insisting that students who want to join their encampment in the centre of the city agree with a radical manifesto that would effectively mean the collapse of Israel as a country.

Until now, the British protestors have publicly said they want universities and colleges to pull all investments in Israel or with Israeli links, and increase bursaries for Palestinian students wanting to study in the UK.

But in secret the organisers of the Oxford protest are pursuing a far more radical agenda that suggests their ultimate goal is the dismantling of the state of Israel.

Interesting point made on a podcast I was listening to regarding the campus protests in the USA which to a lesser extent extends to the UK.

In 10 or 15 years time some of these student protesters will be senators (MPs), judges, decision makers etc. Many others will go on to be opinion formers, policy makers, media operatives etc. And as everyone knows Israel is reliant on US (and western) support. Is Netanyahu, with his actions in Gaza, creating a future where Israel will be under a far greater threat as a nation? It may be not be able to take western support for granted as it does now.

I'll pretend to be shocked... 😲

The Mail frequently lie though, so why should we look at its content?

Just last Saturday they led on the front page with the Met police covering up a Holocaust memorial in Hyde Park. It was a lie.

Proud history of human rights, so why leave the ECHR that we wrote?
Yet you've just used the express as your source when it suits, a bit hypocritical eh.

Plus the article I posted is simply to show he was under investigation and some of the things he tweeted, I couldn't care less where it's from.

I thought you might open it if it was the Express, and the point is, they're all for it, so won't be too keen on highlighting a flaw in the plan.

He's probably at Calais with his £3,000 of our money ready to give it another go.

I'll read anything, especially when it's just reporting what's going on.

The main points for me are this guy was elected on one issue nothing to do with the local area in a local election, does he even care about green policies?

Shouting that phrase like a lunatic after being elected isn't a good look. I mean Khan is a Muslim and doesn't do it, but probably has strong feelings on it as well, as at least he's, for all the criticism, a proper politician.
He runs a community garden so he's got green fingers.
