The formation and lavery

He seems to be worn out by half time so if we are gonna set up similar again then he might have more of an impact from 60mins onwards , against Vale he was knackered chasing nothing balls so when we was on top 2nd half he was running on empty.

And what's happened with Andy Lyons as he was one of the better players last season and got forward quite often , I've hardly seen him round the opposition box this time round

Lyons never actually looked that good for me. Got a big reputation because he scored 4 goals, but half of them were against QPR.

He was fairly poor at defending in CH. He might come good, though.

He's been shifted to the left and made to play Critchley's dire formation. If he were given some slack and allowed to attack at will, we'd have more goals; both from him and from his feeds.

Lyons will look good with Gabriel behind him - as it is he doesn't really know what his job is and sadly because of that I predict Connolly will replace him this weekend.

Agree with the above that Lyons is vastly over rated but he is being hung out to dry in this ridiculous formation. Very difficult to judge players whilst Critchley is playing eeny meeny miny moe when picking player positions.
