I don’t really understand the op or the thread title but that is a very depressing video.

We seem to be trying very hard to Fcuk up the planet for good.
 
Knowing scara’s predilection for giving new names to people he objects to, I’m guessing that The Goblin is Greta

Of course not, merely only condemns when it suits. How this type of thing is not international news under the current climate situation is pretty poor. After all haven't we stolen her dreams due to our poor efforts on climate change.

What a sad man you are.

A young girl calls out climate change but doesn't call out every instance of pollution globally and you think that reflects badly on her. I think the post reflects more badly on your own warped view of the world.

Go on then Scara, what's your contribution been to fighting the climate crisis - I mean, apart from unfairly and irrationally criticising a young girl who has caught the world's attention with her campaign against global warming?

I haven’t inferred that I have given a contribution to the climate crisis, I think your confused. Oh I suppose you could say I’ve done my bit by not wearing a mask for a while, they reckon there’s about 1.5billion in the ocean. Oh and for the record I knowlots of you don’t like it but I’m actually entitled to an opinion on something, she still a goblin. Hope your ok And not too upset.

Now you're being ratty. I accept you're entitled to an opinion. Of course you are. But simply calling Greta a goblin isn't, perhaps, the best way of using it.

Look Im just not keen, she is of course entitled to her opinions on whatever she wants, but I’m not too keen on being lectured by a 17 year old child who hasn’t particularly lived a life just yet. Anyway if she met me she may have a few names for me, I won’t get upset though.

OK, reasonable post. For me climate change is becoming frightening and to the point where I want my vote to the party that can achieve big change for the UK on the basis of putting the environment at the dead centre of policy.
What about yourself? And no, it's not a post about trying to catch you out.

Of course we can all do better, but it’s one thing this tiny nation trying it’s best while getting letters from climate activists while the big boys don’t give a shite and seem to get a free pass. As per my original post. It just stinks of rank hypocrisy. We can’t do it alone.

Does it fuck stink of hypocrisy, hypocrisy would be a photo of her burning plastic bottles in a nature reserve, it's not failing to comment on every single photo of pollution.
 
I saw a bloke chuck a fridge in the canal last week and that useless woke Greta ignored it. Picks and chooses her causes that one and she also has the same PR company as the other fraud Rashford. His PR advisors told him to miss that penalty and she cracks on she's got autism to give her the added sympathy.

1) What's wrong with current global temps?
2) When and where did the ideal climate occur?
3) How big would you like the polar ice-caps to be?
4) When we arrive at your perfect climate - how do we stabilise it?
5) What period in history was the climate ever static?
6) What is the correct global level of Co2?
7) What's your favourite method of preventing deadly heat waves, and what's the cost?
8) What's your favourite method of preventing deadly cold spells, and what's the cost?

Don't know that anything can be done to change any of the things on your list but is it not just preferable to re-cycle, have cleaner air, be more careful with our resources and how we obtain them, be a bit less materialistic, and generally think that leaving the planet in better shape for future generations is a good thing.
May or may not prevent global warming and China, Russia, Brazil, India and the USA might carry on regardless but I'd prefer it if the UK stood out from the crowd and made the most of our wind and wave power.
Wouldn't rule out Nuclear either if the whole process could be made very safe and clean, we should be investing in this sort of stuff, get really good at it, and sell our products and expertise around the globe.

I just don’t see anything competing with nuclear I’m afraid, not in my lifetime anyway. In the mean time I’ll keep recycling the usual stuff and doing my bit when I can.
