So Fletcher would make the perfect partnerWhat we must remember about Jezza is when he was banging them in for us, he was playing alongside Garry goals or Ellis Simms

Yep can’t disagree, two would be ideal. He will have to switch to 4 at the back though so wonder if he gets 1 in now on loan to tide us overI'd argue we need 2 CH's tbh,
Hubby suspended, Horsfall injured, Iheikwe still injured and lets be fair, devoid of any confidence.
We've got 1 available CH (OC) as it stands now and we play a 3 at the back
Possibly, but he’s a different type of player to the other two.So Fletcher would make the perfect partner
Not this Yates bollox again, people are mad on here yes lets get Mullin in who hardly ever starts for Wigan or Yates the same, F me!Yes...Luton fans. From their board:
(as reported)
I wish they would loan out that useless fucker Yates.... my left toe nail showed more than yates this season...Out of Wells, Yates, Nordas and Brown, Nordas is the last one i`d offload Then again who woudl have yates?
Downes would have a lot of explaining to do!Article in the guardian today by Will Unwin suggesting the sporting directors should be wheeled out to explain their decisions more often rather than putting all the blame on the managers. He says they do this quite a bit in Germany
Disagree with the long contracts to players wrong side of 30,but Downes is not responsible for the injuries which have probably resulted us being 10 plus places lower in the league, and was not responsible for the choice of small squad size.Downes would have a lot of explaining to do!
Jordan is passed his best.I see Jordan Thorniley has had his loan cut short after playing 22 games for Northampton. Still under 30 so worth a 15 year deal. Would fit in I think, but for his injury.

Downes is not responsible for the injuries, unless a player is injury prone, he is however as SD responsible for looking at why the injuries happen and changing methods if required.Disagree with the long contracts to players wrong side of 30,but Downes is not responsible for the injuries which have probably resulted us being 10 plus places lower in the league, and was not responsible for the choice of small squad size.
The 352 that Evo prefers is also not the squad that Downes was tasked to provide.
However I hope Evo is actually allowed to suggest the targets
Called back due to being injuredJordan is passed his best.
A reasonable defender for us, but he's older now, and when he played for us, even then he ran like he had a bag of cement on his back.

Not worrying, not unexpected but of course not what impatient fans (myself included) would like.Is it worrying we are 6 days into a transfer window that can save our season and we haven’t even got one rumour yet?
Good player but if he's fit again (I thought he had an op recently for a knee issue?) it will be Stockport. I understand they were going to make a bid for him permanent, their owner likes him and he likes them, so can't see us getting a foot in that door.BBC Football Reporting:
Aston Villa forward Louie Barry is poised for a return to League One after the 22-year-old Englishman was recalled from an unsuccessful loan spell with Sheffield United.
Hope it’s us!
Thanks JSCalled back due to being injured
Nathan Lowe? Loan at Stockport cancelled today
Happy and positive as usual!Alledgedlly funds are available to Evo,so why haven’t we signed anyone yet.
Looks like it will be another case, whereas,we get what’s left on the shelf, with the club reporting these players have turned down other clubs to come and play for Blackpool.
Yawn.Alledgedlly funds are available to Evo,so why haven’t we signed anyone yet.

FfsI’m not saying he’s the answer but an option.
We’ve got several league 2 players in our squad right now that’s why we’re just 2 points above the relegation zone.
However I wait with baited breath then to see who we are going to sign if anyone in this position as we don’t only need new defenders in and January is never a good time to land any star players.
Thanks for that. WowYawn.
Graydon from Fleetwood is a much better bet!How about a cheeky bid for Striker Will Davies of Fleetwood Town, one to watch for the future imo. ( scored 3 in the last 4 games).
Left siders much harder to find than right. It's no coincidence that Imray, Offiah, Sterling, et al all right wing backs. Left WB, just like quality LCB are much more like hens teeth and worth their weight in gold.A left wing back is surely the most crucial transfer target for us? Coulson/Ashworth not good enough and Hubby has to be a CB. Imagine having someone in the mould of Imray on the other side. Would change our balance and options infinitely.
Agreed, but I'd rather push the boat out there and overpay slightly knowing it'll improve our balance and structure than get a striker when Ennis isn't far off? Seems a waste of a squad number imo. Unless we can offload some players without losing too much of our initial outlay.Left siders much harder to find than right. Likewise. WowThanks for that. Wow
They also have to be the right ones. I don’t know if you listened to Evatt’s post match interview after Bradford, but he’s already said there’s no point in recruiting for the sake of it, they have to be players who genuinely improve us.Every other club doing business. Barnsley have just signed a cb o Connell from Wrexham. I’m convinced downes is the problem. His whole job is to find players and he has had 4 months to find some and he couldnt?
Who’s praised our recruitment? 2 average keepers. Ihiekwe well past it. Ebiowei weird signing got rid after a month. George Honeyman big wages just runs around like a headless chicken. Jordan brown either passes backwards or to one of there players. Josh bowler weak as piss has done nothing in the game since he left us.They also have to be the right ones. Any criticism aimed at Downes six days into the window is baffling, especially after the summer we had when everyone was praising our recruitment.
How do people know he and Ian Evatt haven't already identified targets and that we’re not in the middle of getting deals done?
Trying not to wonder what does give you a large Mcgrotty oneHe's 26 yrs old.
Scored 6 in 27 games for Fleetwood this season.
Doesn't really give you a large one.
Apart from that I think they did alrightWho’s praised our recruitment? 2 average keepers. Ihiekwe well past it. Ebiowei weird signing got rid after a month.
