The Masters

Very much looking forward to this.
I've gone Thomas, Spieth, Hovland, Morikawa and Woodland £2 e/w each

Thomas or DJ (even though he’s not in top form.)
Always hope a Brit or two surface (Tommy F +?, Jerry Yates. “He’s on fire”.)
Then a European.

Advised DJ on here for the November Masters and I won a good sum. Never felt as confident as that for a golf bet. Don't have such a feeling for anyone this time round. Have a suspicion that John Rahm could be ready to do something big, as he has found form recently and has done well in recent times at Augusta. Like DJ in November it could be his time for the Green Jacket. Becoming a father too for the first time may inspire a big push for the title. Around 12/1, best price 13/1 win only with betfred.

Outsider may be South African Dylan Fritelli, a player I have followed for some years now since he won for me on the European tour at 66/1. He scooted home in November on the last day to finish 5th and land e/w odds at big odds. Has some decent form last month or so. Can be backed at 110/1 e/w 11 places with skybet. He is available at 150/1 with others at lesser e/w terms.

Just seen they have reported that Tiger Woods was driving at nearly 90mph when he had his crash in a 45mph speed limit.

Was he looking at killing himself I wonder? Seems a very troubled man.

Fleetwood and Westwood will never be rivals.

Might fly over and watch it stood on a coal bunker.

I must say I thought yesterday I couldn`t see how anyone could fancy Westwood despite his recent seconds. Sadly no-one will now.

Westwood has choked with the putter far too many times for me to put my hard earned cash anywhere near him.

DJ and Bryson for me.

Obviously had a shocker, but i wasn't backing him to win - exactly because of what you say about his putting. But his stats show that he's good for a place on an e/w punt. Not holding my breath now mind...

I repeat this every year but in 2015 I forecast that McIlroy would never win another major much to the horror of many on here now over 20 majors later I have absolutely no reason to change my mind. How about my critics if they are still out there?
