He's a low level councilor clearly a bit nervous in front of cameras, doesn't even mean hes no good. There's plenty of good behind the scenes people who aren't front facing. The reality of having to scrape the barrel and find some random councillor to have a pop at.
Dear me im sure there are plenty of labour councillors out there that can’t even get themselves dressed in the morning !!
Exactly that lady should be nowhere near our Government, she is a national embarrassment, but yep the left leaning amongst us conveniently ignore. He's a low level councilor clearly a bit nervous in front of cameras, doesn't even mean hes no good. There's plenty of good behind the scenes people who aren't front facing.
Now imagine if he's an mp and in the treasury minister, that's a different level you expect obviously.
Tbh I'd rather have a normal honest bloke who isn't media trained but wants to step up and prove himself in the role than some slippery tosser in it for themselves, avoiding questions. Is it any wonder Reform are doing so well in the Polls when you've idiotic shite like this being sent out on social media.
Without realising it the Left are doing the job of making Reform even more popular.
It's a bit better than scraping the barrel and then making them your official candidate. The reality of having to scrape the barrel and find some random councillor to have a pop at.
Thank youIt's a bit better than scraping the barrel and then making them your official candidate.
There's hope for you yet.

Yes easy as saying S.A.U.S.A.G.E.S..........wait a minuteS.t.r.a.t.e.g.i.c. Go on.....you can do it!
That kind of backfired on the Lefty Champagne Socialist. The most amusing thing is that these two kids who probably still live with mum and dad, both beat established Labour and Tory councillors.
Kind of shows where we are at right now.
I cannot even fathom the utter car crash that will happen.I’d wager a bit on Reform winning the next GE. Their support will be increasing at the same rate Labours’ is decreasing.
I don’t think they have a viable economic strategy as yet, but I can totally understand why they may win the GE. I will be abstaining from voting as it stands, but if illegal immigration carries on the way it is I may surprise myself on polling day.
They would all short change you in a pub Mac.
Time to get on board, the only party with a vision to reverse where we're heading, the will to do what's necessary.I’d wager a bit on Reform winning the next GE. Their support will be increasing at the same rate Labours’ is decreasing.

Never would I vote reform. Your post Lala is exactly how I’m feeling at this moment.I’d wager a bit on Reform winning the next GE. Their support will be increasing at the same rate Labours’ is decreasing.

Well so far they're doing things that people will struggle to forget and with the economy on the brink, the rich leaving in record numbers etc it could be about to get worse.Labour will probably win the next election if it sorts out immigration and can make the economy grow and the NHS better. The party in power
have the advantage as they can do things rather than talk about it.

Its a long time, however it's difficult to shake a bad image. They dint seem to be prepared to do the things needed to stop thr boats or get growth etc.As with all governments, it is not now that matters, it is the state of play when the election is called. Thatcher had a terrible start in her first term.
But she got re-elected because of the Falklands. It is at least 3 years to the next election, and the situation may be different both here
with the economy and immigration, but also overseas with Ukraine and the Middle East.
I agree, however I don’t think they are prepared to be radical enough to sort out immigration.Labour will probably win the next election if it sorts out immigration and can make the economy grow and the NHS better. The party in power
have the advantage as they can do things rather than talk about it.
Not very patriotic is it? Cutting and running.Well so far they're doing things that people will struggle to forget and with the economy on the brink, the rich leaving in record numbers etc it could be about to get worse.
Some vision. Not new either - swap the phrase "those immigrants" for "the Jews" and it looks very familiar.Time to get on board, the only party with a vision to reverse where we're heading, the will to do what's necessary.
You can either adapt to the world situation and set policy to make then stay, keeping money, jobs etc here or you can adopt the labour or LW view and say fck em, let them go, completely misunderstanding how our society works, if the wealthy leave we have to pick up more of the slack. Not very patriotic is it? Cutting and running.
Fuck em.
Don't be an idiot, I know it's hard. Immigration worked when it was at mich lower manageable levels. Some vision. Not new either - swap the phrase "those immigrants" for "the Jews" and it looks very familiar.
The wealthy pay proportionately less than the poor. You can either adapt to the world situation and set policy to make then stay, keeping money, jobs etc here or you can adopt the labour or LW view and say fck em, let them go, completely misunderstanding how our society works, if the wealthy leave we have to pick up more of the slack.
You've gone woth option 2. Quelle surprise.
I drew a willy on mine because I'm growner upperer than you.At the last General Election I spoilt my ballot paper by writing on it "none of you deserve my vote". It was the first time I had not voted for one candidate, but all politicians are awful currently.
In the local county and mayor elections I didn't even do that. I knew a couple of the candidates and they were awful. The others were parachuted into the local area and knew nothing of the local issues. Very disappointing and depressing how the the standard of politicians has declined over the last 25 years.
I must admit that, if I was still working at the county council, I would be having some fun with the latest batch of councillors - they are not the sharpest tools in the toolbox and have little idea of how to run an organisation.
Proportionately??The wealthy pay proportionately less than the poor.
They move their money abroad so its not working for the country.
Poorer people spend what they have locally, boosting the economy.
What someone stepped down due to health reasons?Reform losing more councillors......This seems to becoming quite normal?
The 18 year old who's now taking over running the whole of Warwickshire Council, didn't speak to the BBC
His mum said it was his Pokémon night and it would be way past his bed time when he got back...
At least he will be out of School by the time there's a General Election![]()
Warwickshire Reform County Council leader resigns, leaving 18-year-old in charge
Rob Howard leaves his position as leader of Warwickshire County Council, citing health concerns.www.bbc.co.uk
Stepping down for his mental health. What someone stepped down due to health reasons?
All parties have had people stand down for a variety of reasons.
As for the lad if hes good enough hes old enough...
Don't the left want votes for 16 year olds, this lads 2 years older and must have been made deputy for a reason, maybe hes very smart?
Also if you read the article...
'George Finch, his deputy, is to serve as interim leader until a new council leader has been chosen, with the teenager not ruling out running for the top job permanently.'
So you know what's going on do you? Where does it say mental health?Stepping down for his mental health.
FFS
I thought it was the lefties who were snowflakes?
It was on the news. BBC so doesn't count. So you know what's going on do you? Where does it say mental health?
Prove it. All searching I've found said no info released about the reasons. It was on the news. BBC so doesn't count.

If you made it up just say so.
So no proof. You think it would be written somewhere. It was on the news.
None at all, just that struggling with wellbeing is very woke for a Reform bloke. So no proof. You think it would be written somewhere.
Anyway, noone cares, he clearly felt he had to stand down.
What's the problem?
Well no idea what hes going through, so no point speculating.None at all, just that struggling with wellbeing is very woke for a Reform bloke.
No much consideration thereNone at all, just that struggling with wellbeing is very woke for a Reform bloke.
Can't be any worst than Rachel from accountsAn 18yo with zero life experience in charge of a £400 million budget is certainly some reform .
