They always have a lefty on a panel, infact they annoy many viewers.

I've only watched GB news briefly but saw the format with the alternative opinion, on the occasion i saw it the bloke was a real wet lettuce.
There is a school of thought out there that says the people are picked on purpose for either being irritating, not too bright or both.
Is there a chance that it's a bit like the old Saturday afternoon wrestling, these pundits say enough to sound like they are making a left wing argument but are then annihilated by the wit and wisdom of the right wing hero!
If they made the GB news people look dumb or nasty the 'left winger' also wouldn't get invited back and therefore would miss out on a payday.
Maybe all Reform and right wing pundits are just naturally superior to anyone left of centre but it would be interesting to see an even contest if they could find a leftwinger with a higher than average IQ.

These people do often make themselves look ridiculous, Bill Ramell is on there, can sometimes add some balance until he goes off calling people far right incorrectly.
