Why did we all write to our MPs regarding the Oystons, including Scottish MPs? Same difference. Sport is not devolved.

Very true but I think there is general issue of local MPs getting their priorities wrong and neglecting the town. From either of the two main parties unfortunately

Looking after the town should be main priority but does not exclude them from taking an interest in national affairs.

Agreed but for some reason in Blackpool I think that apart from a few instances we've suffered with our MPs over the years.I thought Joan Humble did a reasonable job as too did Marsden in part,but for me it needs a local guy who's fully committed rather than using as a career move or helping his/her party.
