In the words of Mr Critch;
"We face an important Summer"
We certainly do so lets start with the retained list.
If we are looking for predictions I'll start with;
A new contract for Hubby.
A 2 year deal for Rhodes, 1+1 with options favouring both parties.

Twenty four clubs in League One alone will release round about ten players each. Pointless second guessing What we might do. Brucie Bonus will probably given a choice of probables for what we need. Like every other Head Coach in this League.

"Gloucestershire Live understands there is a £250,000 buyout clause in his contract, which has one year left to run and that he is unlikely to sign an extension." Championship clubs interested apparently

I'm starting to get worried.

I am probably one of the few who isn't bothered if he did leave.
 
It’d be interesting to see how many signings would be needed to achieve what sort of league position.

Obviously as things are we’d be in a relegation scrap without a single signing.

Probably gets you mid table depending on the quality of what’s brought in obviously. Maybe slightly below.

Again, I’m assuming the players added are of a higher quality than what’s already here, as Bruce goes on about quality over quantity quite a lot. You’d think that line up would have us in the playoffs.

Obviously I’d have Carey in that bottom line up LM. But without Carey we are realistically looking at 4 starting 11 additions for a season you’d imagine similar to this one. Or 7 new additions to the starting 11 for a better campaign.

I also appreciate Coulson and Apter are capable of starting in a competitive side, but I wouldn’t hang my hat on them in a 46 game season. Granted we relied heavily on Apter before January but he was very inconsistent. And as decent as Coulson can be I think we can do better, he can be a bit of a liability and his attacking output doesn’t really justify him being in the side either.

Agree with most of the above, but Apter will definitely be a starter and Coulson is good enough in my eyes.

GK, CB, LM and ST are definitely priorities for me. Can't be relying on Husband, CJ and Beesley come start of the season.

Where is Bloxham in that?
 
We’re at least 9/10 quality players short of being competitive at the top end in my opinion

2-3 keepers
A left back
A centre back
2 central mids
A left winger
At least one striker

Lots of work to be done but I’ve got faith in Bruce and Sadler seems to have found his enthusiasm for the club again (going off early off the pitch business and communication from the club)
 
The man SB wants is Ryan Ledson the midfielder from PNE who is out of contract.
It looks like he is off to Wigan though with probably his connection with Lowe the reason for it.

None! But I have asked Cheltenham fans and he said he’s there best player by a country mile: I have watched a good few clips of him and he looks the part, a lot faster and more agile then apter, can play off any wing and in the CAM and has a lovely shot on him

Everyone looks great on their highlights reel, I’ve no idea how good he is as I’ve never seen the lad play.
