The Summer Transfer - Thread Part 1.

This closure of the transfer window for a week is frustrating after our quick start. Let's hope things happen quickly when it reopens again.
 
So Birmingham don't want him. And he impressed Bradford City so much on his loan spell that they don't want him either?
Could be the new Messi.
 
I think we definitely need to see some more movement on the transfer front this week.

There’s some big holes in the squad at present and still probably 6/7 - possibly more - players to come in - you’d like to think the majority will be with us come the first days of pre-season to give us the best chance of hitting the ground running.

A GK, a CM and a Forward before Friday and I’d be feeling a lot more confident.

Too many agents leaking stuff at the moment in the hope of getting a bidding war on their clients. If we do enentually get some openess from the Club (and Brucey does like to tell the truth) very rarely, is it admitted at least, that we are interested in any those players.
So next week:
We know Bruce would like Tyrer but if Everton aren't prepared to play ball just yet we cant start the season with just Harvey Bardsley so a goalkeeper must be coming pretty soon.
I'm wondering what is happening with the mystery League 2 striker that we could have had in January that Brucey thought was too expensive then but hinted we might look again in the summer.
So just guesswork but pre-season is only 2 weeks away and ideally we need most of the squad in place by then with the loans to follow later, probably.
In short I haven't got a clue.

Sounds like there will be plenty of game time for the Triallist brothers this pre season.
Just like the old days.
