The Summer Transfer Thread - Part 2.

We made a fast and really positive start with 2 experienced really good signings.

Since then it has seemed to slow down and although we don't know for sure if we were actually in for players, rumour suggested so.

Still loads of time however I think people will be sitting a little easier with certainly a good goal keeper in the bag, plus a striker and a midfielder too.

Does not having a keeper leave us in a weaker negotiating position, as teams know you need one and can surely play hardball...

Hopefully we've been using the break well and can bring in some quickly.

If we do know for sure we are actually in for players? Of course we are in for players.

No a don’t think we’re in for players. A think Bruce is happy with what he’s got 👍

Just one of a generation of youngsters who ended up at Fleetwood instead of Blackpool. Just imagine the way a 20 year old England youth international who was one of our own would have gone down at Bloomfield Road . Cheers KoKo.
Hopefully in another 5 years or so there won’t be too many more examples of us missing out on these local talents.
 
Reading FC have signed Paudi O'Connor - thats some signing. Thought he go Championship. They will be a force next season.

Yeah he was - but been about 21 then - played 10 or so games i think. Wasnt he defender of the year in the league last season? Been player of year last 3 seasons i just read - rumours Birmingham, Derby, Stoke were getting him - thought Reading's new chairman was quite tight - but guess they have blank canvas as they only have 6 players registered at mo - so thats a complete re-build there

Yep, definitely quiet ATM, the clubs socials have been left with announcing happy birthdays only.

I think we'd have liked some more in by now. Been much rumour but if all went perfectly to plan I think we'd have announced some more by now, which suggests to me we've missed some.

Still plenty of time in theory, but we do need more in ideally before pre season.

We need to try and have a chunk of the squad in place before pre season if we can for the best chance of us having a good season. We quite often start the season underprepared

GOD WHAT A DRAMA QUEEN!!!!!!

Players are at the Club World Cup so won't sign yet.
