Yes you're right, they were very good. We weren't anywhere near them for virtually all the first half.

But for all their quality, from 3-0 down we had them panicking the rest of the game, once we went for it.

Will be just outside the play offs. Granted they were very good first half, but it was partly down to us being very passive, giving them space to play, and to a some extent a ref who was easily conned by their diving which they started in about the second minute.
When we sat back passively against Cheltenham they started cutting through us like butter, and nobody thinks they will be playing in champs next year.
Critchley I think needs to learn that he cannot keep trying to force players into a rigid role, where they are either not comfortable or not particularly adapted for that role, in a rigid system and continually set up defensively, whilst having a propondence of attacking players.

They’re a good unit the game looks easy when you’re organised
 
As I said in the March tread my Vale supporting mate said they were poor against them.
 
They were good but to be honest, we made it piss easy for them with the team selection and formation. Similar to Derby. In fact anyone decent...
 
According to fergie junior the win here is alway good and he’s absolutely certain we will be top 6 at the end of the season
 
They looked very well coached and like every player knew their role.

Begrudgingly admired their shithousery by going down every few mins to ruin our momentum, too. We could do with a bit more of that.

Whoever is selected for our starting eleven should act good enough, believe that they are good enough and be good enough to earn the start again.

Totally agree, well put. The whole approach feels stifled and limiting. Until we have no choice but to go for it

Peterborough rarely put together a solid season, they go on bad runs, and we can and should finish above them. They also have a lot of crap going on in the background.
 
They were good on the ball & going forward but were (as expected for a Darren Ferguson side) ropey & dodgy at the back. Keeper heavily suspect

Did you go to the match yesterday? I just stated we had them on the ropes for twenty minutes with ten men which we did. Nothing more nothing less.
 
They were decent, helped by a team not starting with its best XI and carrying several passengers.
 
They had a good day but it is too early to say who will finish where based on one game. Yes they were good and played well but we were pretty inept in the first half and the ref and our poor concentration ruined our chances in the second.

Yep and despite the start when we played more positively and with Dembele we dominated, pressed better weirdly and nearly came back from 3 down with 10 men. A taste of what might have been.
