Too many people in the replies on BFC/Matt Scrafton Twitter who are unfairly harsh on the team whenever we don’t win. Not a bad performance today but reading some of the replies you’d think we’d just been hammered 5-0.
Not sure if it’s kids looking for attention or seriously deluded posters but it’s a horrible place to be whenever we don’t pick up 3 points

Modern society. Pretty horrific really, I steer clear of Twitter, it's even worse than here after a game we don't win. What is the mater with these people? And why are there so many of them?!

I think on here it's more you hate people having an opinion that is different from yours.

I think what I hate is people who express their opinions in terms that I find offensive. The way people talk about other people. Often ignorant as well as offensive.
 
If it’s good enough for Trump.......actually that sums up why I won’t and never have gone on Twitter full stop.....

Love the irony of people on here - a social media platform - criticising others on a social media platform for criticising others on a social media platform. Clearly AVFTT has critics of a far higher social and moral standing than other social media platforms and whose criticism is fair and just.
 
I love Twitter, it has connected me to all sort of people, including Pool fans who left AVFTT because they thought it was toxic! Some great support for those struggling, instant help if someone is missing, lots of different political opinions, and a load of Trolls. Don't feed them, simples
 
I don’t like Twitter but it’s far less abusive and toxic than the politics board on here.
 
I don't 'do' twitter. It's a moronic place infested by unpleasant people.

Opinions can be debated on here with much more personal accountability.
 
Twitter adds nothing to people's lives. It is a place were extremists can anonymously spout their half thought ideas (as Going Up the Pool said above) without accountability.

I did used to follow the Dalai Lama, he was quite good, but I go nowhere near it now.

Ha ha! The Dalai lama damned with feint praise on AVFTT. My favourite moment of the week, alongside Maxwell's wonder save.

Twitter does add things to people's lives. I find out about stuff that's happening on there. I don't hang about though, and I avoid football and politics like the plague.

Agreed, but in relation to BFC it can often bring out the worst section of our fan base who think we have a divine right to win every game

I stand corrected Voyeur, maybe I should have said that twitter brings more negatives than positives although I have no empirical evidence for this.

Pleased that you enjoyed my litotes style ref to Mr Lama.
