Third Round Draw

No we would not get an allocation but there’s nothing to stop anyone from travelling and and having a nice meal in their local pub👍🏻

I’d quite take another smaller club to get through to round four when it really starts to mean something.

I’d like Newport at home.
long journey for them and we cannot get to the game anyway so we want the best chance of progress - maybe we can get in the ground if we stay in long enough.
Plus a few more groats for SS wouldn’t hurt either.

I am honestly nervous about drawing Preston. Would be bloody typical - first time in 7 years and we have to watch it on iFollow (or probably Sky).

I hope we just draw easily beatable teams and advance as far as we can and get that sweet prize money!

Without getting carried away on a day which saw us eventually assert our superiority over lower-league opposition, made better when a heavy defeat spawned talk, amongst the Tier 5 dwellers, of relegation 🙏 🥂and dissatisfaction with Alex Neill, wonder what the odds are of us going through the Cup without conceding a goal?? 😁
Seriously, still don't want to draw them

They got stuffed today and have high flying Bournemouth up next, which won’t be easy. Barks scored for them today (wish we still had him!). That Watford team are full of Prem quality and a few internationals, inc a full Croatian international and our very own Cathcart. They would still be too good for our developing team, unless we catch them on a bad day.

Canvey Island. If they let supporters in lets see if Ray Winstone is still the daddy.

Any revenue from a good cup run will be more welcome than ever before this season.
£82k for third round winners as I understand it, whoever you play, and a further £90k in the fourth round.
A home tie against any team that is very beatable for me please.
It would be nice to see SS getting some well deserved return on his investment in the current climate.

We have a poor history in FA Cup since 53.
Never beaten a Premiership side (FA cup) and last victory over top flight club was Burnley in mid 70’s. We have been humiliated by non league teams on many occasions .
Surely we are due a change of fortune and hit the football headlines one day.

I'm looking into my crystal ball and recieving strong messages that it will be Chorley and my black cat is saying that...........................it's away. UTP

hamilton academicals according to my goldfish i tried to explain to it that its the english fa cup but he said well swansea are not english so i gave up lol

It's always away at some boring Championship team like Reading, who end up beating us. Surely we deserve some 3rd-round draw luck this year 🤞
