Not sure if it’s the run of games we’ve had but the standard of opposition has been a HUGE drop. The number 19 at centre back for Orient today had one of the worst games I’ve seen a player have. Teams seem unable to punish us whereas in the championship, you let a player through and you’re 1-0 down. That said the teams we’ve played look like they’ll very much be at the bottom of the league

There's a definite drop, still you can't just bulldoze teams, we'll you can, but we can't yet 🙄

But there's no way we'd have 6 points in the championship right now.

We're strong at the back and don't let many in at this level. But haven't shown much going forward yet.

Saying that in the championship team will be better so come at you more, here were often respected and teams therefore aren't as adventurous, so we have to find a different way to win to break down 10 people behind the ball, but today tbf they came out a bit too and still we couldn't.

A lot to improve.

I’ve seen some poor sides/players in my time but I thought Orient were dire and as you say the number 19 was extremely poor.. but unless you have the players to exploit it you end up with results like today.
Glad we have no home game for 2weeks as I’ve had two journeys over in a few days and it’s been a hard watch…

I think League 1 feels easier than it has for a while as some of the "sleeping giants" (Sunderland, Blackburn, Sheff Wed, Ipswich) that can afford a higher quality of player have escaped. Add to that Rotherham who are always a force in League 1

I would roughly split the league into 8 big teams (those who consistently do well in the league/have spent several seasons in the Championship) and 15 'smaller' clubs

The 8 'bigger' ones being:
Bolton
Peterborough
Portsmouth
Derby
Reading
Barnsley
Charlton
Wigan

Anyway the result is that there's at least 15*2 = 30 fixtures in the season that look and feel extremely winnable when you see the name of the team we're up against

For me, the pace of the match is considerably slower. Given we’ve got plenty of players with Championship experience, I’m disappointed we have dropped off our intensity. First 45 against Burton was great. The rest, no endeavour

Not sure what people were expecting. I remember thinking the Championship was a lot lower level after we came down from the Prem. It's what divisions are all about - different standards.

Several weeks into the season, I feel we still have a lot of fans in denial that we got relegated from the Championship. We were basically already a League One team last season which is why we went down.

Belittling opposition players and teams who are at the same level as us suggests we have a lot of superiority complex going on around the stands which won't win points, in fact, it will more likely end up putting our own players under pressure and losing points.

Agree with you regarding us being a League 1 team last season, we absolutely were one of the worst teams in the Championship and most of the players we’ve kept aren’t looking out of place in League 1 or too good for it at all.

Wouldn’t say there’s a superiority complex, think we faced enough of the #teamslikeblackpool ourselves, it’s just an expectation that a club with two seasons in the championship should be operating to a higher level than clubs with much lower budgets and constraints and we are a bigger fish - although definitely not the biggest in the league

Their defence was there for the taking and it really was criminal we didn't take advantage.
