I don't think it's a loss, it's off our wage books and I bet it's 500k or something for him. Which considering the business, will cover wages for Madine and Grant till the end of the season. I think we're molding our squad nicely.

Athers 👍 Bloody drove me mad!! Whenever he got in a decent position he’d fall over and look for a free kick or penalty. There is a decent player in there which Stoke might get out of him and, to some extent, Thompson is a real failure of Larry and his coaching staff!
 
I think it’s Shrews business. Thompson was no better than Virtue or Guy as the season went on but at least they looked honest players. Pretty sure today’s deal for Connor Ronan staled that deal.
 
I think we’ve lost a good player who has maybe had his head turned playing International Football. Seems to have consistently come back worse when he’s played for NI and so maybe he’ll feel better being around the Stoke side - can’t imagine the Stoke fans will see this as the signing to save them!
