Done, only took five minutes, well done BST, on top of the game as usual,

Done

I have suggested that we create a carnet type system for those of use living away from the Fylde coast who may not be able to attend every match due to distance etc, but could commit to say 10 or 15 games at ST prices.

Got to be worth a stab.
good idea, we can lead the way as being a "progressive club" keep those ideas coming, well done

Done.

I forgot to add in the 'further ideas' box that the Club could consider adding the BST joining fee to the price of a season ticket for those fans who are not already members. A simple tick box on the application could manage that.

Ha Ha, so want to force supporters to be a member of BST? Imagine if BSA had ever suggested that for themselves.

Done. Suggested a family season ticket. Don't know bout anyone else but me and my lad both have a St with the Mrs and other child coming to bigger games paying on the gate, if incentivised a little would prob just get one for us all even knowing a few games they might not come.
Don't know how the maths or finances would d work out or whether it would be better or worse but just an idea to encourage a few more sales.

Personally I think a price reduction would be good. The German teams mostly sell season tickets under €200 and they fill their grounds. Bradford season tickets were £150 for adults last season. They know they have a massive stadium for league 2 and actually want to fill it. When have we ever sold the stadium out regularly apart from the Prem season? Cheap tickets will bring in more new fans and build the fanbase for the future.

I suggested that we need to encourage families and younger fans and there should be some discounts for them, as their incomes are often squeezed. The idea that there should be a general price reduction is both a forlorn hope and generally not the right thing for 2 reasons. Firstly, Blackpool's ST prices were already one of the lowest in the divsion and in some cases other clubs were much higher. Secondly, Sadler still invested in the playing squad and elsewhere despite the pandemic. He will have taken a big hit and it would be unfair not to pay a realistic price.

Won't accept the amounts of money I think tickets are worth. When I type the the amount it won't go to the next question.

Bradford and Huddersfield have trapped themselves into too cheap season tickets leaving them short of funds to improve the team. Both struggled recently. imo

Fair enough, I just think cheaper tickets will bring more fans in and hopefully lead to more money through other avenues. I looked what our average attendance was last year before it was stopped and it was under 8,000.

Yes, with the right balance I agree with you. Especially when Blackpool isn't exactly a wealthy area.

I think we don't pay enough.... Maybe I'm an exception.. I don't agree with two pricing points for season tickets though. The discounts etc should be given if paying more. It cost very little ie. £4.00 on a shirt...

This facility of allowing other posters to mess with a poster's original post is something I will take up with the mods.

We shouldn't rise prices beyond inflation. We're in Blackpool. It is not a rich place.

If football is so expensive we need to be pricing people out, then fuck football, fuck ludicrous wages, fuck massive teams of analysts, fuck official coconut water suppliers, fuck CEOs on millions, fuck the whole lot of it.

It's some lads kicking a ball in some grass. That's all it is. It's expensive enough already and I think our prices are relatively decent in context of others.

Football has been socially cleansed enough already.

Sorry, that's all a bit overblown innit!

I would like to hope that under Simon Sadler we are on a new journey. Possibly one very different from the tired old rinse & repeat football of old. One in which a fan ( a very rich fan) supports the club financially but who leads it in the direction of a Club that supports its local community. We've seen that in the commitment to tertiary and further education. I hope we also see it in terms of not being a 'hire em, fire em' type of club when it comes to Managers or Head Coaches. Furthermore, with Sadler doing a deal with the Council to advertise 'visit Blackpool' on the shirts, we have become more than a billboard for vacuous moneyed interests. The final brick in this new regime needs to be an ownership who knows that the more well off can be tapped up for executive boxes and the such like, whilst remembering that we are not a wealthy town and treating the bread & butter fans accordingly.

I've said I'd be prepared to pay a little more (say £300 vs £270 this season) if it subsidises cheaper tickets for youngsters. They are who we need to attract to grow the fanbase, you don't need a blanket reduction.

As an aside, we also need to keep up with technology. We should not be having to print off a ticket in this day and age - you should be able to use your phone. It's been possible to buy a train ticket and present the ticket on your phone for years now. People may say this is irrelevant but if you want to attract young people this is what they expect. That said, I'm not sure if this is being looked in to or how much it would cost to put in place. An official BFC app would help.

Done. One of the questions seemed to be somewhat loaded as if trying to force people's hands. What price do you want a season ticket? Lower, the same or more with all the money put into signings and the infrastructure of the club or something along those lines. Very much came across as the author wanting you to tick the box for paying more and any other response was not acceptable.
