Tier 3

It was always going to happen, I just hope the local authorities have got a better deal, although whether it'll be enough to prevent irreversible damage to so many businesses I have no idea. Stay safe everyone.

What they used to do in Portofino's, Lytham was at closing time people would flock there and order a garlic bread or pizza between however many and stay till 1 getting ratfaced. Cops used to come in and as long as you had a plate in front of you they could do nothing.

They used to do that in a Bar where I live, in those days it was Egg Mayonnaise with some salad. It was very successful until a drunken customer actually ate it ! It had been in and out of the Fridge for about 3 weeks 😱

That was more Ninos than Portofinos who would stick an extra few bottles on the bill anyway.

So in tier 3:
"You must also not meet with people outside of your household or support bubble in a private garden or in most outdoor public venues."
But,
"You may continue to see friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) in groups of 6 or less in certain outdoor public spaces, such as:
  • parks, beaches, countryside, forests
  • public gardens (whether or not you pay to enter them), allotments
  • outdoor sports courts and facilities, and playgrounds"
So what's the difference between the 2 areas in bold?
Both are direct quotes from Gov.uk
