Anyone know what the position is with TJJ. Is he out injured, or is he now completely out of favour. And what’s his loan agreement, till January or full season.

His position with me is that I'm still so angry about his self righteous premiership behaviour and his god given right to have everything silver spoon fed to himself that he doesnt have to chase balls or close opposition down when replied upon by all his teammates...... and breathe

Harsh. Young lad learning what it's all about.
He was starting to get it, in my humble opinion

Don’t pussy foot about, just tell us what you think.😜

I assume he will go back in January. Guessed we wouldn’t see him again after his lack of effort cost us a game. He needs to knuckle down that lad or he will go the same way as countless other wasted talents

On paper he was a perfect fit for our 4-5-1 option in the 10 position of as the Simms role of last season.

Reality was, it hasn’t worked out for him. I was going to say he lacks the mental strength to be the player his talent suggests but with many young players it can take a wakening call like this for them to realise what comes next.

Obviously he needs to head back to Arsenal and try somewhere else

Vociferous for you that mate.
How are you?
🤣 I'd had a drink 🤣.... stand by the nature of my comment although i admit it could of been wrote with more decorum.

When he last played he just summed up what young premiership academy players can be like. He just didnt want to run after a ball which he could of easily got to and the opp player picked up the ball instead and they went and scored the winner from it. I'm not doubting the lads ability but his desire and hunger was terrible.

All good by the way - first season where all 3 of my sons come with me every game and we're loving life in the North 😀🍊⚽

He might very well go on to be a good player and have a good career at this level or even higher but - and I know it's been said before - if he'd come to us from AFC Fylde and not the Arsenal, we would not be as forgiving and it would probably just be easier to say he was chite.

** AVFTT caveat head on **

I am sure that players from Arsenal - or the Arsenal set up - are far more likely to be successful in the game than players from AFC Fylde.

This lad has a lot of ability, more than most of our other attacking players, I think, hence his Arsenal and England attachments, but he's used to under 23 football and has had a short stint in League One. I just think he's not ready for the physicality and intensity of the Championship, but he is only 20 years old and has time to get used to it, and to develop his physical strength and his mentality. It's up to him whether he does that, and I guess he has been sent here to toughen him up etc. He may well have been a substitute for Ellis Simms who I know we wanted to bring back. But I suspect he may well go back to Arsenal in January. Not sure what his next move might be, perhaps a stint at a stronger side in League One, a Sunderland or an Ipswich maybe, to get him playing and improving. He needs regular games and won't get them at this level, yet, I reckon.
