Hardly strolled. They had 5 shots on target. 4 went in. I don't disagree we were poor but they didn't strollToo Many Fannies!
No heroes. No one prepared to put a foot in or kick an opponent. No one taking responsibility. No pace. No urgency. No pride in the shirt.
Harrogate strolled to a 4-2 win. Let that sink in!
36 year old Jack Muldoon who is the epitome of a journeyman centre forward and includes AFC Fylde as one of his clubs managed to notch twice against our defence. He hardly got a sweat on!Hardly strolled. They had 5 shots on target. 4 went in. I don't disagree we were poor but they didn't stroll
Spot on this.Too Many Fannies!

I don’t think Harrogate will have an easier win all season.Hardly strolled. They had 5 shots on target. 4 went in. I don't disagree we were poor but they didn't stroll
It was the EFL Cup and he wanted to give some a start clearly and rest some others. It wasn’t the strongest midfield. In fact, it was dreadful and I’m afraid Evatt must be tactically inept if he couldn’t see it.

I'm sure it'll be more normal on sun.
If you don't like strolled how about they maybe 'sauntered' or 'ambled' through our defence for the first 16 minutes with no opposition?Hardly strolled. They had 5 shots on target. 4 went in. I don't disagree we were poor but they didn't stroll
That's fair comment. If you don't like strolled how about they maybe 'sauntered' or 'ambled' through our defence for the first 16 minutes with no opposition?
Anyone who watched last night, Reading or Leyton Orient and has a single clue about football will know it has absolutely nothing at all to do with formation, selection and what input the manager has.More normal on Sunday?
We’ve lost 4 out of 5 and one of those was a last min v 10 men.!
If Carlisle dump us out the FAC we need to question the motivation from the gaffer? I’m sorry but this needs to be addressed. The form is worse than Bruce’s
Ridiculous comment. I said a month ago on another post that this would happen, and it’s through no fault of Evatt’s. He’s been left with a squad that is so lopsided it’s laughable. We’ve got players on the books who should be nowhere near this level (Andy Lyons, CJ, Banks, just to name a few).More normal on Sunday?

Morgan? He is hardly to blame. We have too many really soft players in the squad. CJ, Lyons, Coulson, Morgan, Hansson, Bloxham. You can get away with a couple as long as they have the quality to make up for it but none of those players do and at the moment every starting 11 we put out therefore has multiple passengers
We drew vs Leyton Orient. Can't count the youth game vs tranmere surely.More normal on Sunday?

Not recently whilst he’s been injured but still nowhere near the standard neededMorgan? He is hardly to blame.
I’ve included the last min goal vs ten men in the lost 4 in last 5 quote. We drew vs Leyton Orient. Can't count the youth game vs tranmere surely.
Last night was an efl trophy game and it was a strong team but with a 2nd choice poor keeper and basically no midfield, just used them there to give them some minutes.
Including basically a youth game for us vs Tranmere is unfair, injuries dictated that we didn't want to risk anyone else. If we did and some got injured people would have called him stupid because it was a nothing game.I’ve included the last min goal vs ten men in the lost 4 in last 5 quote.
It might have been two EFL games but winning games breads winning mentality. Last night was no academy players in it and we lost to a team at the bottom of league two. What I’m saying is the gaffer has been unprofessional by letting his players go down south for a piss up after the game vs Reading. They would have been back on the Sunday and knackered for Monday (probably why they didn’t even train!!)
How is that a good mentality from the manager when he should be looking to get back to winning ways. I’m sorry but he comes across as very arrogant with this attitude.
Would Richie Wellens let his side get away with that? Would he not prepare for the game properly?
Yes I have an idea about the jolly boys outing and if you call not training the day before a game professional then we’re in trouble.Including basically a youth game for us vs Tranmere is unfair, injuries dictated that we didn't want to risk anyone else. If we did and some got injured people would have called him stupid because it was a nothing game.
I don't care what Wellens might or might not do, we've no idea.
No idea about a piss up, have you?
From what I've seen Evatt is preparing his team properly and training is far more professional.
If their 'tanking of the Tangerines' didn't quite qualify as a stroll, maybe Harrogte's approach to the game could be more accurately described as a 'gentle canter'? And, although this description actually comes close to giving the encounter something of an an 'equestrian flavour', that would clearly be grossly misleading, as the match was hardly what you would describe as a 'two-horse race', was it!?Hardly strolled. They had 5 shots on target. 4 went in. I don't disagree we were poor but they didn't stroll
Out of respect to Lyons, Coulson, Morgan, Hansson and Bloxham - for CJ, in place of the description 'really soft', may I suggest the following alternative: 'absolutely clueless'?We have too many really soft players in the squad. CJ, Lyons, Coulson, Morgan, Hansson, Bloxham. You can get away with a couple as long as they have the quality to make up for it but none of those players do and at the moment every starting 11 we put out therefore has multiple passengers
Once it was back to 3 2 we should have got something from the game.If their 'tanking of the Tangerines' didn't quite qualify as a stroll, maybe Harrogte's approach to the game could be more accurately described as a 'gentle canter'?
