Todays crowd

Looks like it'll be lower than usual unsurprisingly, usually the nw corners have sold out right about now, still some left.

Still time for sales today and if everyone comes where the seats are greyed out then can still be an alight crowd considering, but I imagine many ST holders etc may be missing with the daft isolation rules meaning people may miss Xmas, some some won't risk it?

I wonder if people will relax more near the end of the Christmas holidays knowing the days isolating will be when they're due to go back to work.....

A very quick estimate is about 9400 so far maybe not including hospitality. Obviously if ST holders don't go do they get counted?

I suppose we could see good sales today but I can't really see it.

It will definitely be the lowest crowd so far this season , for various reasons, the last Saturday before Christmas is always poorly attended anyway even without the covid affect . My season ticket holding mate who I go with is giving it a miss because of his son who has underlying health issues , and there will be a fair few like that . ST holders not attending will be counted in the attendance however .

I'm giving it a miss, can't afford to get Covid, as mother in law has underlying health issues, & is currently coming over for Christmas, sadly can't take the risk for her... I may not be alone in that...

I’m on my arse thanks to the booster jab so I’m giving it a miss.

Cheers Boris
Had mine on Wednesday and not gonna lie I thought my head was going to explode and arm was going to drop off on Thursday morning. Hang in there, drink plenty water and take some paracetamol.

Only feeling human again today so will be going this afternoon but imagine it will be a low crowd.

Im on a Christmas do today with 6 st holders although I know 4 have given their seats away.
I had no probs giving mine away so the demand is still there....up the mighty Pool

Just arrived after the smoothest ever drive over, so quiet, no queues as we passed Trafford Centre a week before Xmas - very strange.

Car parks at the ground also very quiet.

I think the fact people who aren't isolating are giving it a miss shows that vaccine passports don't work, if they did people should feel completely comfortable that those inside the stadium are OK but thats not how it works. Waste of time.

I'll go for 10,152.

£26 for a walk up when we are competing with Covid, IPTV, Christmas, poor form is far too expensive

Getting a knee op (partial replacement) on Monday … have to self isolate 3 days prior 😫 miss today and through January. I have someone who will use my ST, so that’s 👍

I missed it too NoFinds as having hip replacement early January, and couldn’t you have just bet on Pool to pull out a win bah. Not that I would go in a bookies either at the moment!

Good luck with the knee btw hope all goes well for you 👍

Never thought I'd see the day when people go on a message board to say they're 'feeling a bit off' after a vaccination. Good win today 👍

We’re lucky the match was staged, so count your blessings we’ve got 3 points

Covid is every where - don’t do anything you don’t have to do - no unnecessary risks - if unsure, stay home.

Met a client yesterday whom I last saw 2 months ago and he’s been very ill with. Ovid and still hasn't recovered. Yes I had a mask, yes so did he, yes his wife is a Doctor and yes, I never went withinn10ms of him outdoors

Best wishes to all - stay safe

Yup agree with that - more for the players well being, safety and health than the fans because unless someone sneezes in your face in the concourse area I'd say you'd be bloody unlucky to get Covid just sat watching a game in the outdoors.

Yeah the science of it too is favourable.

Even if some have slipped in with covid, let's say 100 people, which seems very high but...

You'd expect them to be fairly spread around the stadium. Obviously it wouldn't be even but lets say 5 or so in each block.

What are the chances of being sat within 1 seat of them in a block, very slim.

Plus you're outside so even of you were theres no guarantee you'd catch it.

The odds are very favourable.

The gazette say about 200 people on the Fylde coast have confirmed covid so the chances of being near one of them at Bloomfield road is ?????
……. A very realistic problem

Do not underestimate this virus - it was killing100 people a day in my local hospital last year and very many people have ongoing problems and permanent disability and life shortening health issues.

Stay safe, listen to all the science and stay safe.

Pretending it’s a small issue is a false reality - it’s doubling every 2 days.

If you aren’t fully vaccinated, do so, it’s the best hour long queue you’ll ever stand in

Sat in the hospital now in Whitehaven , under the knife before dinner 👍😂
Good luck with your hip, I’m sure we’ll both be right and back in the ground before some of our players 😉

😴 7 deaths from omicron

I missed it by choice, and will now be looking at either Barnsley or Millwall as my next match, depending on how things transpire. I would rather my family and self are safe, than an outside chance of picking it up and spreading it. Without going into too much detail my grandson is presently immuno compromised due to a long term illness, and I would never forgive. Myself if he were to catch it due to my selfishness of attending a football match. Did I miss not being there? Off course I did.
