Madine was one of our better players when we went up. Without him, Yates wouldn't have had the space to work in and get the goals. He occupied defenders and dragged them out of position. It's not a coincidence that we started playing better when he and Yates started playing upfront together. Go and have a look at Yates first open play goal for us agaist Burton, if Madine doesn't drag their whole defence across to the right by taking their CH with him, Yates doesn't have the room to run into on the left and score. Alot of what Madine did that season went under appreciated.
