Following the success of my 'that's how fascism starts' thread, I thought I'd go off-politics and ask for posters favourite three singles that didn't make number one in the charts so I'll start things off with:

Instant Karma - John Lennon
Tokoloshe Man - John Kongos
My Boy Lollipop - Millie Small

Take it you mean UK chart 66?

Sound of Silence - Simon & Garfunkel (3)
Magical Mystery Tour - Beatles (2)
Oh Well - Fleetwood Mac (2)

Biggest travesty in musical history was Vienna not reaching No 1.

Did anyone ever know of anyone who bought that utter bilge by Joe Dolci? I certainly didn't.

Lytham you must be tone deaf and have a playlist comprising of 100 different mixes of the Birdy Song.

There's literally hundreds of better famous singles than that cod synth rock overblown load of old crap that never made number 1, it's just the stock answer that everyone gives.

Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane never made it to number one for example, or A Design for Life, or Born Slippy, or Suspicious Minds etc etc...

I’ll change my mind ….. sod the synth rock overblown load of old crap.

Metallica - Enter Sandman

Ozzy - Shot in the dark

Iron Maiden - Run to the hills

🤟🏻
