Haha you just reminded me of what we thought was a great idea. Around 15 yrs old, me n my mate Wayne Hart (RIP) nailed a large bedsheet between 2 clothes props n carted that to the prom with our supadoopa skateboards with kryptonic wheels. Nice windy day on the prom too. We got on the boards about 8 feet apart and lifted the props with sheet as a sail. Once we raced to around 30mph and still accelerating, we realised we were fucked! No brakes! No knee pads or helmet etc! We agreed to both lob the props over our heads. We did so and both then went out of control n fell off! Rolypolying about and loads of skin rips and bumps etc. amazingly no broken bones. I wish there was footage of it. So…. Who’s up for it then post match on the prom?
