So he's paid no more than $1500 in any one tax year over the last 6 years and lied about not releasing them due to an injunction.

Who would have thought such an honest, upstanding citizen would be less than truthful.

Joe Biden also challenged him in debate about having overseas bank accounts and he said he had closed them all before he became President. Turns out he had Chinese bank accounts all the time he was President.
 
Funny old business politics and taxes and very rich people (who may not be very rich at all) moving money around within a system which facilitates it.

I think we probably have a slightly different perspective to the Americans though; they love people who become obscenely wealthy - it is after all the American Dream; we're a bit more conservative about being rich, which is why the aristocracy only flaunt it with each other, not when they are nipping into Waitrose - they don't like ostentatious displays of 'new money" anymore than the rest of us.

Back to Trump; he will blame somebody else, he always does.

He probably still paid more Tax than the likes of Amazon, Google, Apple did to the U.K. government though and what did they earn?
