Turkey were very poor, the Italian keeper probably had the least to do in any International I’ve ever seen! Having said that Italy looked rather impressive.

Italy are normally slow tournament starters but they were very good tonight and l thought at the start that Turkey may cause an upset.

Impressive message to the rest of the tournament from Italy, ultimately though you'd expect a routine win from them against one of the lowest ranked teams in the tournament. Can only beat what's in front of you and they did the business, be interesting to see how they do against one of the better sides though.

Hope we play with a similar intensity against Croatia, there isn't quite the same disparity in quality as there is between Italy/Turkey but getting off on the right foot would be nice in the Euros for once, I read today we've never won our opening game!

Never been to the Stadio Olimpico but that sounds frightening and remember watching it on the TV. The rugby matches l went to were at Stadio Flaminio great stadium for rugby.
