Turkey v Italy

Bocelli World Class - glad this is on the Beeb but it's missing the team being at venue .. wonder how they would have done this in normal circumstances?

That Italian national anthem is a good one, players look a bit more pumped than ours do with our tune.

They’d be better singing the anthem and then leaving the stadium to hit the bars instead

That’s the best six nation away game by far, I have been a good few times as well, and I have been fortunate to have done them all at some point.

Just having some Sun in Feb or March was amazing - although I remember one year that they had to shovel tons of snow off the pitch, but in the Sun it was lovely.

Totally agree!!

Although I have just been talking to mates in a whatsapp group and I have been to this stadium a few times - however, the worst football violence I have ever seen, happened at the Olympico in Rome when England where there in 97 and it was 0-0.

I don’t scare that easy, but I was shitting myself that evening with what was going on.

FRIGHTENING!!!

The two to three hour lock-in after the game didn’t help either!

Fantastic stadium for Rugby and agree, although (and I could be wrong) they played the Rugby at the Olympico once or twice 👍

BUT my memory may be playing tricks as I get older 👍👍

From Wikipedia re Stadio Flaminio:

It was the home of Italy rugby union national team for Six Nations tournament home matches from Italy's entry in the competition in 2000 until 2011.

The Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) announced, in January 2010, that the stadium would undergo an expansion, that will increase its capacity to 42,000, before the 2012 Six Nations Championship.[4] A failure to progress these plans has been cited as the reason for moving Italy's home Six Nations games from 2012.

Still cater for black and white TV. Red and dark blue have no contrast.
Turkey could have played in white and Italy in their traditional blue as the home team (l assume), don’t forget most on this board must have watched Pot Black in black and white (apologies to the Woke community for this😬)

It’s been a while since I have been to be fair, but Rome is amazing 👍

Although I did have tickets for the game tonight, which obviously we could not be there for!

Didn't think you could be offside from a corner? Apparently you can 🤔
