TV freesat/view etc advice

I recently bought a new TV that has freeview, & that worked until the unfeasibly large tree to our rear (in direct line to Rivington) got leaves on, & our signal was decimated (pixilation & then cut out) The tree is over 60ft tall (massive) Not sure any aerial could overcome it?

I do have a firestick for box sets etc, but Mrs Lime finds it confusing & unwieldly for "normal" TV. & it doesn't record/pause

I have a Zgemma satellite box, that picks up Freesat, with a sky type menu system & an attached Hard Disk for pausing & recording, or did till it started playing up,

Any suggestions as to where I go next?, a free sat box seems pricey.....

Had the same problem a few years ago. Got a local TV co out to fit and supply a satellite dish and freesat box for about £320 combined, and its been fine. Not sure what today’s cost would be though.

Got Fylde aerials in, they put a new (better) aerial in the loft, seems to get me a freeview signal even on HD, so far so good....
