Perhaps you should try a newspaper, rather than a comic? The timing and implementation of the easing has been extensively discussed for at least a fortnight.
True, but that was only part of what the OP said, and since he refuses to post a link I'll do my best with what he has posted.
First off, the post reads like something copied and pasted from twitter rather than any kind of reputable publication, which may explain the lack of any kind of source, and in that context starts to look like a political attack rather than a factual claim.
Let's look at it in a bit of detail:
Another 30,000 deaths will arise rise because lockdown was lifted too early claims the SAGE Group.
This is the one I really want the link to, because
- it doesn't sound like the kind of thing SAGE would say;
- I can find no hint of this in the minutes of their meetings;
One important point that you might be unaware of, there is an "independent SAGE" group run by hard left activists that likes to pretend it's the real thing and sometimes gets confused for it, is that what's going on here? I suspect so but again, no link, no way to check
Infection rates have stopped falling for the first time due to people starting to meet up again
R has been stuck at 0.7 - 0.9 for a while, I can find reference to 0.5 - 0.9 from Sage minutes, 5 May (oh look a link, how useful) it's far from clear what impact the easing of restrictions has had on it and to say that any change in it is only down to changes in restrictions is a flat out lie.
Also, note the non-sequitur, even if R has stabilised and even if it were only down to the changes made it does not follow that the changes were made too early and does not support the claim that SAGE have advised otherwise.
Now for the next trick:
Chief MO Chris Whitty said he expects the infection rate to remain the same through 2020 into Spring next year, with 100-150 dying each day bringing the death rate to 80,000 by March.
Can you see what they've done?
Go back to the first part of the post.
The claim they are making is that every death from now on is the result of lifting lockdown too early, and if it hadn't been done then no-one at all would have died from the disease, this is manifestly absurd.
So to summarise, it's a hard left activist attack post with several deceptions and dirty tricks thrown in and you've swallowed it whole.
Do you see why I like to see sources now?
