Sat in the car this morning with Mrs H and my Covid Vaccination appointment popped in my inbox. Hurrah! I said to her 'At least one of us will survive haha'. She didn't see the funny side unfortunately and now i can 'do my own washing'! Gonna be a long day.

Micro dinner for 1 tonight then..

My husband got a text last night and then was able to make the appointment for his first covid vaccine this Sunday. So happy he can at least have his and I will have to wait till March

As I'm in my 80s and MrsDP is in her 70s I had my 1st vaccination before Christmas.
MrsDP had hers on 12th Jan.
I was supposed to have my 2nd on 13th Jan but that's been put off now.

Theres sign of appointments becoming random.
Women in my office got an invite today, early 40's and no health issues plus she's at North shore surgery like me.

Mate and his missus clicked on the link I posted on Saturday and were both given appointments. Both under 40.

I think they're generally happy to vaccinate couples at the same time if you ring up and talk to them, I know that my folks were able to arrange that despite being in slightly different priority groups.

Apparently there are loads of spare slots - the staff are waiting around for people to turn up Maybe time to open up to the over 50's

Just had mine at Whitegate Health Centre. In and out less than two minutes.

Had mine midweek at Lytham where 50-70s are now being done. In and out in 2 minutes as well. Spent Thursday with every part of my body aching and shivering and Friday feeling dog rough. Nobody warned me about that.

Think the leaflet they give you after the jab warns that can happen.

Exactly why some countries do not recommend it for the frail and elderly. It'd finish them off!

TTJ Had mine done at Lytham Primary Care Centre Wednesday, brilliant set up in and out in 5 mins. Think it affects everybody differently, I had the Oxford AstraZeneca and apart from my arm being a little painful, didn’t have any other symptoms at all, as 20’s said the leaflet explained one might suffer flu like symptoms for a couple of days.

Yep, AstraZeneca for me too.

First jab received this morning at Thornton Little Theatre. Very impressed with process and speed of service.
