Vaccine

I had very mild side affects from the first jab. But the second one, which I had on Thursday, has left me feeling rough for the last couple of days. Feeling a bit better now though.

Sat there worrying about side effects could result in the stress mimicking side effects.

Just crack on, it's a tiny jab, there's nothing wrong with you.

This post is not endorsed by the NHS (although it's what we're all thinking)
Oh I’m not worrying, in fact I’m rather pleased with myself knowing I’m protected against the Chinese flu .

Got my second one next week on 19th so any ill effects should be clear for Friday nights game, I could have worked through the first one as I only felt tired, not expecting anything much second time.

Yes had my second last Friday, was still a bit rough in the night. Boils my piss these people that won’t have it. Could really scupper things returning to normal.
why does it boil your piss if somebody decides they dont want it?

Quite simply because the longer people don’t get vaccinated the longer we’re under pressure with people dying. Get vaccinated and reduce infection rates and reduce deaths and let’s get back to normal. So yes it boils my piss, especially if Noris panics and tells me I still have to be locked down come June the 21st. I hope this explains it for you.

but seven people died in UK today

Quite a detailed article on vaccination by the BBC. Interesting is vaccine refusal by age and demographic, although that might be an issue if availability but I wouldn’t have thought so?

Maybe just maybe if everyone has the vaccine then nobody will die and we can all get on with our lives.
you could be getting on with your life now. Just a suggestion but maybe some of that anger you feel towards those making an informed personal health decision might be better directed towards the government. Then we might start getting somewhere.

The government can’t force people to get the vaccine and I can’t really do what I want as we’re still on lock down as people are still dying. I don’t know what you think the government can do on top of what they are doing.

Well said we have a duty to get the jab

Maybe we can get on with our lives while being dictated by the state.
So while the rates are high guess what fuck all changes so get the jab and maybe just maybe we can get back to normal.

Me too. Had it at Poulton Civic Centre. Really well organised and In and out in 10 minutes 👍
Been ok all day, which is better than the 1st jab where I had a constant headache all day.
I had mine at Gorton St, and they were well organised too, and, I feel fine now !

Yep I had 2nd today at civic center and having felt pretty rough after first one can report feeling okay so far after second jab..infact im even considering🍷or 2...😁

Got my second on Tuesday morning, praying to God I don’t have any side effects that spoil the game.

Had my second last monday at the Winter Gardens. Took longer to walk in and out of the place than to actually queue and have the jab. .

Well 24 hours later, no headache, no sore arm , nothing , so I’m very happy about that. 😁

They say it takes up to 3 weeks to be fully effective.....so best not party just yet😉😉😉

My 3 weeks are up on Wednesday ....but as I don’t party in the first instance it doesn’t really matter ( though I might make an exception if things go alright on the pitch this week)

It appears that most patients in Bolton NHS that have covid have not had the jab. People need to get on board if we’re going to get out of this.
Yes I heard that! it’s dreadful. Even if you not bothered about your own health if elible have it to protect family and friends 👫 it should be compulsory but the do gooder wokes would say what about my civil liberties, well what about everybody else’s CL’s ??

Of course as someone told me today, the vaccination is fake, the needle is just that. Yes, really he did. 🥴
Now I like a good conspiracy theory myself, especially the one about Elvis. Oh, and the lizard royals. But I hope you put the clueless idiot straight on this one...
