VAR at Palace

For me Jota deliberately moves away from the line of the ball to go into the keeper who wasn't moving.

Another 'big team' decision for me.

Palace wouldn't have got the same decision.
Just can’t believe Kevin Friend has given a pen for that absolute joke of a decision.

No wonder the Palace fans are singing the refs a scouser.

Was thinking the exact same thing. To say that was a poor decision is an understatement.

An absolute disgraceful decision all round. The Liverpool player actually looked at the keeper and moved to clatter into him. Ive stuck up for VAR recently but how did they all get that so wrong?

Atrocious decision. Obvious on VAR, as Wiz alluded to, that was what Jota did.

I really dislike Liverpool who do seem to get a lot, and I mean a lot of decisions going for them.

What even annoys me more is Goofy thinks they're always hard done by.

....and I still think Henderson is crap.

Even Carragher didn't think it was a pen. Then goes on to say Liverpools goalscoring record is remarkable.

Not surprising when they get regular decisions like that in their favour.

I don’t know why anyone is remotely surprised that another VAR decision is given to a big team. The use of VAR is simply another tool to benefit big teams.

There used to be a defence for refs to say they dont have the benefit of all the TV replays. Well this ref just had it and STILL made the wrong decision.

Mike Riley needs to make these refs accountable for their incompetence. No doubt Dermot will say it was a pen on ref watch tomorrow.. And please stop blaming VAR. It's the refs.

Watching on Bein Sports and Richard Keys is inferring when the ref goes to the monitor he has already been told what the "correct" decision is and calling for these conversations to be broadcast at the time.

Var has allowed referees to make even more bizarre decisions than before we had it and just assumed the reds were shit

Just watched the highlights of Chelsea v Spurs.

How does VAR not intervene when the ref gives a free kick to Spurs when 2 defenders literally were clinging on to Azpelucueta (sp)
