Woke up this morning with the worst case I've had in years.

Horrible sensation and made me really nauseous.

Did all those tilting head and eye focussing exercises from YouTube and seems to have done the trick but I feel knackered.

Anybody else suffer?

Yup and had it really bad about 3 years ago, and I still get attacks every now and then. The exercises do help but you have to stick with it and find out what the cause is.

I think mine is stress related and also triggered by food, and I've also binned off alcohol which has really helped.

If it is suddenly worse, to state the bleeding obvious, maybe talk to your GP. Loads of things can cause it, best get checked out.

I'll see how I go over the next couple of days.

If it comes back I'll get checked out 👍
Dont drive to the surgery or clinic because they'll hit you with the exercises, and it will definitely affect your driving home.
The docs bend your head over the bench and it really knocks the stuffing out of you, but remember its just crystals moving around your middle ear.

I went without taking the anti sicknesses pills which worked for me, but I got through pints and pints of fluids as an alternative.

Avoid chocolate if you can too...😑

That sounds like fun!

I have had it the last two days and at my wits end already.
Dont let it get to you- I got in a mess with it and ended up with two emergency trips to the hospital, and at one point I couldn't see an end to it.
Walked miles at first which seemed to alleviate the symptoms, but its just that your middle ear is full of crystals- the only option is for them to dissolve and dissipate so the exercises are vital.

Funnily enough it first happened at Elland Road where they thought I was having a heart attack, but came home had something to eat and felt fine.
Around 11pm I felt really sick, dizzy again and couldn't move off the couch for about a week. Lots of fluids and it'll be fine.

Thanks and i would have a heart attack if went there for no good reason😎

See GP - it could be labrynthitis from a viral attack on the vestibular nerve. Are your pupils all over the place ?

no

It's BPPV and it's very common. Caused by small calcium crystals breaking off in the inner ear. Take an anti-nauseum tablet if you must and practice the Epley manoeuvre at home - it'll pass very quickly.
