Well, right or wrong I would rather spend a little time with an optimist than a long time a cynical pessimist.Look, it might come as an incredibly big surprise to everyone on here, but Hazi was right
You need the cynical pessimists to allow the optimists to shine!Well, right or wrong I would rather spend a little time with an optimist than a long time a cynical pessimist.
I applaud your honesty Clappers. What a game tonight just watching it againLook, it might come as an incredibly big surprise to everyone on here, but Hazi was right
True Clappers and they will appear soon enoughYou need the cynical pessimists to allow the optimists to shine!
Exactly what I find exasperating Angel, it is a time to rejoice, albeit sadly at a social distanceGreat o/p
Some strange folk on here have short memories.
Two years ago the ownership and set up we have now would have been beyond our wildest dreams.
When people state they have to pinch themselves sometimes they are 100 per cent right.
I sort of disagree with that. People want to look forwards not backwards. It's about the positivity of looking ahead and why I gave a to Hazis quote of Critchleys words.Great o/p

Well said Hazi, I still have nothing but optimism here. We look a better team than in Sept and certainly a better team than in Jan.So we lose a game away on an ice rink to an in form team who had beaten 3 of the top 4 teams n recent weeks, 0-1 to a dubious penalty and should of had at least one pen ourselves. What happens this board goes into meltdown again with doom and gloom. We are still as a club doing everything right, we are still work in progress but a very bright tangerine future awaits. Patience grasshoppers.
Sooner we get back in the ground the better then this team can see the real weight of support behind them. UTMPWell said Hazi, I still have nothing but optimism here. We look a better team than in Sept and certainly a better team than in Jan.
We’ve still got a team gelling and a decent second half of the season sees us challenging for promotion.
Admittedly our plan B looks better than our plan A at the moment (4-3-3) but as that favoured formation is probably only 3 or 4 months in for the majority of our squad (who would never have played it as lower league players) we are making great progress all the same.
The moaners go quiet when we win - it’s almost like they’d prefer defeats as it allows them to revert to type - I fear their real lives must also be blighted with pessimism too?

To be fair Hazi and Chunky, there's also a large body of posters who post both positively and negatively. I think we're all allowed to be jubilant at the good whilst venting our frustrations when it doesn't quite work.Well said Hazi, I still have nothing but optimism here. Always allowed to share opinions - it’s the sheer extremism I don’t get.To be fair Hazi and Chunky, there's also a large body of posters who post both positively and negatively. I think we're all allowed to be jubilant at the good whilst venting our frustrations when it doesn't quite work.

We certainly don't play total football mateHappy where we are at the half way stage, play offs if not more still very much achievable. UTMP
Looks like the total football has been shelved for the championship and PremierWe certainly don't play total football mate
That was shelved after 10 games
Our football is actually quite direct playing off Madine most of the time but its a results business so was never really sold on the entertainment thing
Having seen all the teams in the league there is nothing to fear
I expect the play offs ...
Watched the pool since 1978 and I've never had a feeling like this. For the first time in my lifetime the club is being run right from top to bottom, an impressive back room team of good people assembled by the best owner we could of ever dreamt of only a short time ago. we have invested in a top top coach and exciting talented young players who intent on trying to play total football, it won’t happen overnight but we are not far off, we have taken giants steps forward as a club in the last 12 months. They now deserve 100% support from the fans, sit back, be happy and enjoy the ride, this club is on the up.
It’s gutting for sure here’s hoping we get back at some point this season to roar themAnyone else find it even gutting that we're not there. Imagine the noise on Doncaster? Maybe 10,000 on?
Me since 72’ first time we have an honest club with good folk from top to bottom. This is the best trip and the reason we shouldWatched the pool since 1978 and I've never had a feeling like this.
Positively Critchley on Twitter!Unfettered progress.
Trust The Process
You’ll always get the odd ill informed knobhead on message boards, the majority can see now what’s happening and it’s great, UTMP (with great thanks to Mr Sadler)Can’t agree more Hazi but apparantly there are quite a few numpties on the board who appear to be wanting to throw themselves off the top of the tower if Critchley doesn’t resign after such a shocking result and performance at PA today!
LoooooooooooolUTMP
Didn’t know he had gone blocked him yonks ago. All coming together nicely Chunky onward and upwardLooooooooooool
Wonder where the 🕷 is these days?
Seemed to stop posting around November time

The cards in the post. The big question is...
What is Yates ?
Answers on a post card
Fortunately he can put the ball in the back of the net though which for a footballer is a better skill.Yates couldn't poach an egg. Mind you it's not that easy lol
